FPSMMO天花板
What a complicated game to have complicated feelings about. When this game is firing on all cylinders its really the best FPS/RPG experience you can get, and theres a reason why it has taken other studios 10 years to make similar games that get even close to what Destiny achieves. Despite these highs, the game is very flawed especially as a new player. The tutorials suck, catching up to where the story is/ended is impossible by just playing the game, and Bungie has earned a lot of bath faith in some of their practices. They prioritized the current player experience over everything else, so if you were a constant player from WQ to FS you were eating good. The consequence to that is that the game cycled content in and out every year, so many good missions gone forever to make way for new ones and they for sure arent coming back now. The good news is that in this Final Shape (TM) the game has been left in does still have a ton of things to enjoy, and if you are willing to read the wiki and watch youtube videos there is a lot of great writing to sink your teeth into. We're so strong that we trivialize much of the game, but that also means there are so many viable playstyles and gear to hunt. One one hand, Bungie should not be rewarded for treating their developers as poorly as they often did, especially the layoffs. On the other, the actual game the devs made is truly unique and special and it took the better half of a decade for anyone to come close to this vision. Warframe, Divison 2, Darktide, and Space Marine 2 either dont have the breath of content and variety, or dont have the insane attention to detail the destiny devs have been able to pull off time and time again. Fine games in their own right, but not the titan of quality and creativity that Destiny 2 is. RIP this beautiful mess, and thank you to any devs that had a hand in it.
way better then any other recent bungie games
it crashed at the beginning a lot. but if you delete the folder enough times it might work. mine started working after i deleted the folder twice.
This game can be simultaneously the most infuriating and euphoric game on the face of the planet, ant it doesn't make any sense, its sad that its ending soon. I've had many amazing times on this game and its been there with me through some tough times and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way
dont have that many hours on PC but i have roughly 8K hours on console. boy howdy has this game had its highs and lows... after all is said in done, 10 years later, Destiny 2 is such a special game man. there's just nothing like it on the market, and i dont think there ever will be again (unless they're secretly making a D3). i don't think i can really recommend it, so much content that gives so much context is long gone. D2 will always have a place in my heart
It's heartbreaking to see what has happened here. This will leave a lasting hole in the gaming world. Years from now, we'll look back on the journey we shared and remember the incredible moments that brought us together. We'll laugh at the unforgettable memories, mourn the losses, and think about everything that was taken from us—what could have been. In the end, even the worst times were worth it because we experienced them together. Those memories can never be taken away. 11/10
