On July 21, 2026, Destiny 2: The Collection was around $13. On July 22, the exact same bundle jumped to roughly $24 while the sale was still running. The extra bundle discount was quietly reduced from about 52% to 15%, increasing the price by roughly 77% overnight. Maybe the original price was a mistake, but changing it without warning while still advertising “80% off” feels incredibly scummy.
Zdecydowanie polecam.

With thousands upon thousands of hours logged on console, through the highs and the lows, and I can safely say this is one of the greatest games ever made. There really is nothing like it, and I honestly don't know if there ever will be again. The feeling of late nights raiding with friends, mindlessly talking while grinding out a catalyst, or locking all the way in on comp crucible. The gunplay is literally unrivalled, even by the same studio. The lore is possibly the best in the business. Not to mention that it gave many in its community a sense of belonging and peace. This game meant so much to me, and so many others, and while it's sad to see it get its last update, I am completely content with its Final Shape.
It's the worst game ever made. No, for real.
Bought Expansions years ago before the game was even on steam, and they remove them later in the games life, I haven't touched the game since, I will never touch a Bungie game again, taking my money and removing what I paid for. Eat dirt Bungie!
They vaulted my paid content. They said it was temporary. They lied about why they did it. They killed the game and never brought it back.

I rarely post reviews. My opinions are my own and I don't want then to sway others, as I firmly believe in trying something for yourself. No matter what others think, cause ya may just like something a majority of people don't. But this? This is a special review, for a franchise of Games that changed not just my life but many others, as well. Destiny 2 its self is a super fun and enjoyable game! Its grindy, and holds true to a 'Looter Shooter' where you collect things and chase the power fantasy. Did It have its Ups and Downs? Oh, yeah. Big time lol. I stuck with D2 for MANY years, since the Beta on Playstation 4 all the way up to Witch Queen and maybe even a bit after that. Through out those years, I had so many ups and downs in my life that the one thing I could always look forward to? I could silence the chaos around me, even if for a moment, to enjoy the world of Destiny. To escape and be able to unwind, even if its only for a little bit of time before chaos picked up again. I actually have zero idea how many hours I actually have, since I played D2 on the PS4 for many years before swapping over to PC when Crossplay was introduced. Just know, I'm sure I have over 1000+ in-between the PC and PS4 versions of the game. When I heard about the end of Destiny, I was honestly a bit stunned. I didn't truly think they'd bring it to an end, but, Sony always gets what they want in the end and I have zero doubt they had a hand in it all. My journey started in Destiny 1, during the middle of The Taken King, and more so into the Rise of Iron when I was able to fully experience Destiny 1 in its glory, then the Age of Triumph. But something about the game felt different, something felt unique so I ended up sticking with Destiny for a long, long time. So, when the day came when Destiny 2 was announced? I was excited. I couldn't wait and would constantly talk about it nearly non-stop with my Fireteam. We'd come up with lil' stories and theories about what D2 was gonna be like, and planned to hop in on Day 1, which we very much did! I even got ahead of the others by playing the Beta when it dropped, just to get my teeth into it as much as I could. I personally enjoyed Vanilla D2, even during the 'dark era' of D2 when there wasn't a lot to really do in Vanilla. We'd spend countless hours just running around exploring every single small area we could to try and find secrets and hidden lore things. Or, stuff we thought'd be important lol. But as the years marched on, the Fireteam drifted apart, life happened and folks grew distant and friendships fell apart. It happens. But I remained, mostly playing as a Solo player. I'd join a Guild from time to time, looking to run a Raid every so often just so I could experience it for myself, and maybe, connect with some members of the Guild to form a Fireteam like the one I had in the past. It never happened, but I still enjoyed myself and was always thankful for their conversations, wisdom and showing me how to do stuff. I made friends along the way, though I don't tend to be a very social person and have so few friends due to keeping to myself for one reason or another, I will always, now and forever, cherish Destiny for giving me the experiences I was able to have, and make the friends I made even if it was for a little bit of time. To the people I ran with in the past? If you're still out there -- I hope you're doing well, Guardians. Been a while, but I'm sure you're out there, somewhere, do it is whatever life has guided you to do now. For everyone else? While the Servers are still online, for however long that remains true at least, if you haven't already? Play Destiny 2. Give it a shot. Keep in mind however, It no longer has ANY Updates. D2 is finished, as is Destiny as a whole. A lot of content was removed due to the game being 300GB+ with ALL DLCs, apparently. But who knows, you may come across some chill people and form your own Fireteam, or a Guild of people willing to show a New Light what Destiny has to offer and tell you the history and Lore of the world you'll be adventuring in. Theres a decent bit to look into. Personal favorite of mine? Thorn, and The Last Word. The Lore behind those two unique weapons will always be my favorite, and I suggest them if you want a fun story to start with! There's some good videos on Youtube about Destiny Lore, and those stories are included. But whatever you do, enjoy yourself, escape the chaos of the real world and relax, even if for a little bit. Theres bound to be someone, or a few good people you'll come across that'll join you on your adventures. And plenty of stories to uncover, for those willing and bold enough to attempt to do so. Per Audacia, Ad Astra. See you Starside, Guardians. And thank you, Destiny. Thank you for the laughs, the challenges, and most of all, the memories.
