despatch: Entity Astray

More hype in the description than actual game play. Using Vive Pro wireless (OLED). Very poor optimization, no instruction on using controllers at the beginning, limited movement direction, story beginning is lacking and VERY VERY DARK. My Computer (high-end PC); Windows 10 Pro 64; CPU: I7-8700K; NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti; and 32 Ram. No Clues,,,,scattered puzzles with no sense of direction...took me an hour just to figure out the very first puzzle.. And NO, I do not agree with the Dev.... ...these are not AA graphics...graphics are OK, but far from AA. Not trying to be mean or rude and I really hate giving negative reviews as I wanted to like this game...and I enjoy games like this...may be after some updates it will become a much better game..but right now it is not worth it. Very frustrating to play...not fun.

有点难，我是five呜呜呜 设备是index 抓东西有点敏感，手只要指向物品，物品就会有蓝边框浮现，握住指虎就能吸过来，很多时候手放在物品旁边反而无法抓取，和alyx游戏方式很不一样，有点不习惯 没发现有背包 没有新手教程，部分道具有指示，但是还有很多工具不知道是干嘛的也不知道有用没用 整体还是挺好玩的，氛围很可以

Despatch Entity Astray is a very interesting game. At start you play a robot that is in a factory room where robots are being constructed and delivered. First you should look at everything and then combine things in a good escape room way. The atmosphere here is very good. The graphics and sound are very consistent. The graphics are in the upper area and everything runs smoothly on my 2080 GTX. The sound is very nicely integrated into the atmosphere and you really have the feeling as if you were waking up there as a robot and having to find your way or progress. The resulting puzzles are challenging and that is exactly what sets the game apart from 0815 cheap productions. The environment is detailed, locomotion works well and I am curious how it will continue after exploring the first room. Conclusion: nice game, with AA graphics and not made too easy, so that you also have a success experience if you make progress played 1 hour now and I will definitely continue to play it and I am curious how the story will continue....

Got stuck on the second puzzle and with no clues = immersion breaking. The item handling is quite bad. It only works when they are highlighted

On balance, I did enjoy this game. The visuals are fantastic and some of the puzzles work well. There are severe design decisions. For example: One of the puzzles can only be solved if you chose particular locomotion options. Otherwise, you could be scratching your head for hours over it. This led to me distrusting the puzzles and completing the rest of the game with a walkthrough. Puzzle games need to be less obtuse. At times an objective marker would have been really helpful, or a voice over "I need to...". It is also way too short for the price. At less than 2 hours (less than 8 minutes if you have a walkthrough), this should be less than £10.

Der dunkle Start hat mich lange Zeit vom Spielen abgehalten, aber nun habe ich es doch durchgespielt und bin positiv überrascht, die Rätsel sind sinnvoll und man braucht manchmal etwas um hinter die Logik zu kommen aber nach und nach findet sich alles zusammen. Die Grafik ist zwar nicht hires hat aber doch eine tolle SiFi Optik, vieles ist sehr gut gemacht. Ja und eine Tasche fehlt ist aber auch selten nötig weil man die benötigten Teile direkt da hin bringen kann wo sie benötigt werden, Sound und Stimmung sind düster aber stimmig. Positiv hier das sinnvolle automatische Abspeichern was gerade für mich wichtig ist weil ich manchmal nur 30min Zeit habe zu spielen und da gibt es viele negative Beispiele die ich abgebrochen habe weil keinen Nerv mehr hatte ein Kapitel neu zu starten, das klappt hier sehr gut. Gespielt in Windows Mixed Reality auf der Samsung Odessey Plus mit den HP Reverb Comtrollern. da klappt die Steuerung Super und Teleport brauchte ich nur selten.
