Very fun pixelated action RPG with plenty of influence from early Resident Evil games. A thrilling survival horror game that you can complete in a one sitting! Give it a try and support small developers!
Desolate City: Last Show offers an extraordinary gaming experience that stands out in the survival horror and RPG genres. From the very beginning, the game immerses players in a haunting atmosphere, tasking them with surviving in an abandoned city while uncovering the mysteries of a deadly virus. Story and Atmosphere: The game's story centers around artist Don Aitor's last concert and the chaos that ensues as a mysterious virus spreads through the city. The atmosphere is both bleak and captivating, drawing players into the desolate urban landscape. Graphics and Sound Design: The pixel art graphics are beautifully crafted, with intricate details that bring the city to life. The sound design is equally impressive, with eerie music and environmental sounds enhancing the game's tension and mood. Gameplay: Desolate City: Last Show combines exploration, puzzle-solving, and strategic combat seamlessly. Players must manage limited ammunition and healing items carefully, making strategic decisions to survive. The puzzles are well-designed, offering a satisfying level of challenge. In conclusion, Desolate City: Last Show delivers a thrilling narrative, stunning visuals, and engaging gameplay. It's a game that will keep you hooked for hours and is an absolute must-try on Steam.
100% recomendado.
A nice call back to survival horror games like Parasite Eve or Resident Evil. Being 2D, action RPG horror with pixel graphics, this game does an awesome job with gameplay mechanics, sound, and story. The environments are well-made too, with enough cues to keep you interested and curious to inspect things. Though these are small details, they really grabbed my interest. The fact the sound of character's footsteps change on the carpet was nice, which actually matters in the game. Also, when I saw that my shots can hit more than one enemy, if they are in a line, was a nice touch. These enemies have different health amounts and damage output too, so the combat encourages strategy, which was nice to see and do. Critique The save system is unforgiving. It did not bother me, but some might find this to be frustrating. You can die fast if surrounded by enemies, so strategy is a must in most cases. My best advice when facing more than one enemy, either slash and run with the knife, or lure them into a narrow path and open fire. Overall, a fun game, especially if your feeling nostalgic.
Desolate City: Last Show, benim için farklı bir deneyim oldu. Eğer bu türü seviyorsanız, Desolate City: Last Show, denemeye değer bir yapım! Desolate City: Last Show – A First Experience and Review Desolate City: Last Show was a different experience for me. Normally, the retro pixel art style isn't my favorite type of game, but I actually enjoyed reviewing this one more than I expected. At first, I spent some time trying to understand the game. Since I hadn't played this kind of game before, figuring out the mechanics and the atmosphere felt new. However, as I progressed, I noticed that the hit-and-run tactic was well-executed, making the gameplay engaging. When it comes to graphics, although pixel art isn't my preferred style, the visuals are quite well done. The city atmosphere, horror elements, and retro style offer a nice visual experience, especially for fans of this genre. Also, the Steam store page descriptions are well-written, clearly explaining the game’s theme and mechanics. Overall, the game mechanics are solid, and the story is interesting. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who enjoys retro pixel-style survival horror games. If you like this genre, Desolate City: Last Show is worth a try!
