Desktop Survivors 98

Super fun game. Reminds me of the obvious; windows 98 and xp and all of the culture surrounding it. lots of laughs and tons of replayability.

Very fun an unique rougelite. Love the art style and many of the mechanics and weapons are very unique and fresh. The leveling system is pretty rewarding and fairly good replayability. The only issue is that once you have done most of everything and gotten all the achievements there isn't much of an incentive to replay [spoiler]*aside from golden cursors, but its not very enticing*[/spoiler]

I have 200% completed this game. I've gotten not just every achievement, but also every single thing that doesn't have an achievement as well. I have had a fantastic time. From the start, struggling to survive and finding new items around every corner I manage to cross, to the end, where I almost crashed the game because there's no projectile limit, and the enemies couldn't absorb all of them! 10/10. Simple, fun, and cheap! Of course, there are a FEW issues, but every game does. Plus, its fun to completely annihilate the balance! Everything from the UI to the very few lines of dialogue are quite charming as well! I love the theming! I also think that its very cool that I can play this while doing something under it! It all comes together to make a wonderful little package of entertainment! Would recommend!

i cant decide if its amazing or unbalanced garbage, the fast flying enemies feel pretty impossible especially early game. half the weapons Ive gotten so far are basically worthless so i die early on half the runs and every boss is impossible unless i manage to get a corruption (which also feels basically impossible) OK after 100%ing it over a weekend this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AWESOME. Once i actually figured out the enemies and weapons it became so much easier , so much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun finding all the corruptions even if some of them were a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pain in the ass lol All the roguelite mechanics are amazing, the burial bay and all that .even though i 100ed it I hope i return and keep completing the level 50's and maxxing out all my upgrades

Equal parts nostalgia and fun. Made my inner Win95/98 self very happy.
