Desktop Dinosaurs

My eggs would never hatch...

Can't give this a good r8ing in the st8 it's in. I hope they up8 it with more features and fix some of the bugs.

This concept has been something I've been interested in for well over a decade (in terms of desktop 'pets'). The pixel graphics are perfect for this genre, and it's wonderful to see something I only attempted (albeit poorly) to create when I was (very) young... actually come to life! I agree there are some things that seem unfinished, but the game's only just been released, really. Rather than leave a negative review straight away, leave it until it develops a little more - you must admit it has a lot of potential. I simply cannot wait to see what else is coming to this! Makes me want to revisit my old attempts at making something similar! I'd also like to point out for what this is, the price is just PERFECT! As for suggestions, perhaps find a way to adjust how quickly their stats decline - although I appreciate the so-called 'babysitting', some people don't have that sort of time (and that's okay!). The menus also seem to have the sprites (i.e. dinosaurs, food, decorations etc.) float on nothing as it scrolls (for me at least), so it would be nice for those to stick within the window. Also, long dinosaur names don't actually fit in the window either - I know, I know, just give it a shorter name, right? - so maybe being able to resize that window would help... or make it wide enough to fit in the default dinosaur names, that works too!

Très sympathique pour passer le temps. J'aime bien voir leur évolution au fil des jours, même si je trouve que l'adn ne monte pas très vite comparé à la quantité de nourriture a acheter. J'aimerais bien qu'il y ai une horloge intégrée pour décorer et aussi qu'on puisse choisir le sexe de l'oeuf, après 5 oeufs je n'ai pas eu de femelle je trouve ça un peu compliqué d'en obtenir une. J'ai été agréablement surprise quand j'ai vu que chaque espèce pouvait avoir des couleurs différentes. Hâte de voir la suite des mises à jours !

Love the idea of this game, i find it adorable and very cozy. The art is very simple but lovely at the same time and i love to watch the dinos grow. However i can't enjoy it because of how buggy it is. I found bugs in the animation of the dinos, text bugs, the ball falling off the screen and me having to sell it and buy it multiple times just for it to fall again as soon as i opened the game for the second time. So yeah i would personally wait for it to have a few updates and be fixed before playing it again just so i don't ruin my experience any further.

i bought the game because i love dinos and i thought it would be cute to have them on my screen, but i confess that the game is a bit unstable and difficult to interact with when it's open on other screens. when i buy upgrades it just closes. The dinosaur models are beautiful and that's what made me buy the product, but I hope they stabilize the game as soon as possible.

I really like this game and it's concept, I hope it continues to be developed

It is fun and nice to have a dinosaur on my labtop. But the game will crash every time I try to evo. him :( Please un-bug this amazing game. From Peanutsbutters

it discontinued, so no bug fixes. fun concept, but needs a new person to develop the game since the original owner is possibly dead at this point

it has been a year since the last update. I missed having desktop pets in the early 00's and tried this out. stops functioning properly after half an hour. never really worked well with desktop and other actions. quickly became unplayable after attempting to evolve anything began crashing the game and lost all evolution progress on the plants i had. requesting refund.
