Derail: Sacrifice

“Derail” is a horror puzzle game similar to Rusty Lake and Fran Bow, with an optional non-scary mode.

The once peaceful town was thrown into chaos when a coffin falls from the sky. The villagers vanished all of sudden. Only things left are embryos scattered on the empty streets. When you opened the coffin, a living person walked out. "It" claims to be from the 21st century, sent back with future tech to save this country.

You'll play as:

• A demon-possessed orphan,

• A noblewoman who adopts the orphan,

• Or the nation's general, navigating political intrigue

Moving among the powerful, you'll slowly uncover the dark secrets behind this brutal country.

Gameplay:

As for gameplay, besides exploration and puzzle-solving, I’ve incorporated somg TRPG dice mechanics. You can freely save-load, pick some hellish choices to extort NPCs, and fully embrace the role of a chaotic player in this dice-rolling adventure.
