I want to quit work just to keep playing. That aside, every aspect of this game was almost made for me in particular, coming together in a stylish product that reminds me of why I'm an artist in the first place. The level of mastery to this game is amazing, with simple controls that have so much depth when mixed with well designed stages. Combine that with incredible setpieces, a fun world to dash through, and NEXT LEVEL music, and you get easily the best game I may have ever played. TLDR: 20/10. Please gimme more stylish train game
For those old enough, this is how it felt when Tony Hawk's Pro Skater landed at the beginning for millenia. Just that Denshattack is not so brown, edgy and punkihs but is colourful, upbeat and heartful. And somehow a small studio from Catalonia managed to catch all the funky Japanese vibe, leaning on all tropes and steretypes but still ended amusing and sincere. So grab that ramen you have to deliver with your train while you jump over vulcanos, fight gyru girl gang, mega monsters from Tokyo bay .. and look cool while drifting and making tricks. Pure gem of a game.
