[b]Demon Sight[/b] is a fun, short and sweet 2D visual novel with combat mechanics drawing similarities from the XCOM games. And it also contains some explicit adult content, but this can be hidden by changing settings in the option menu. It has multiple endings and meaningful choices, providing replay value. The narrative is simple, yet intriguing story about Markus’ demons affairs, was entertaining to play through. The game’s length lends itself well to one full play through in one sitting, and a longer session will let you reach all endings in one evening. Images displayed in the screenshot represent the arts style through the game, and it upholds same consistency. It is a cartoony minimalistic art-style I find pleasant to look at. Most achievements are locked to the story and easily obtainable, while a few are based on luck or intense clicking. The combat, though having some elements of tactics, is mainly luck driven, as well as certain other elements, which can annoy when trying to achieve one of the achievements. Given the low price and the games length, it’s easy to recommend as a game for an evening’s fun if you want to play something instead of watching a movie. Wow, visual horror novel, with playable elements and turn-based combat, it's strange that it doesn't have a single review, it's highly recommendable, it's a shame that it's underrated.

It's a very short and forgettable story that has some important choices. If you're thorough, the most logical path reveals the other path(s) through dialogue but there's a couple of red herrings thrown in there that might confuse you when trying to get all the achievements. I am not sure if it's because the game was made in RenPy but save scumming is an absolute thing and it felt like it was almost required for one of the achievements. The 'hot demons' have 3 still images in total. 1 requires the worst luck ever or a ton of save scumming, 1 requires you to do a very specific route and third is in the screenshots. I'll be honest, I bought this for the hot demons but was utterly disappointed. In the end I feel like I wasted my time.

It's a really nice and interesting adventure. The idea with combat is great. Red girls are hot! Satan is cool. The story is funny. Recommended!
