A gift I got from my friends back in 2018... The gameplay is exactly what the title describes, you are a demon king, and you will dominate. It's purely a porn game, nothing else to it. For $5 it's good for what it is, and if your friend also bought you it it's because they love you and want you to touch grass. Overall a lot better than a lot of other games out there filled with AI slop, at least humans made this one. Also, lowkey I do like the art style. Belgrum delivers on what they are selling.
low dialogue quality. Too much exposition it reads like ranting. Need more realism.
Demon King Domination: Deluxe Edition is an adult-oriented indie title developed and published by Belgerum that blends visual novel storytelling with light RPG and strategy elements in a deliberately irreverent fantasy setting. The game places the player in the role of Malos, a demon king who is positioned not as a misunderstood antihero, but as an unapologetic antagonist whose ambitions revolve around conquest, control, and indulgence. From the outset, the tone is bold and unapologetic, clearly signaling that this is a mature experience built around narrative choice and character interaction rather than traditional heroics or moral redemption. The core of the experience is driven by branching story paths and decision-making rather than complex mechanical systems. Progression unfolds through a mix of dialogue choices, episodic encounters, and occasional turn-based confrontations that serve more as narrative punctuation than as deep tactical challenges. Choices made during conversations influence relationships, alter story outcomes, and unlock different scenes, giving the game a sense of replayability despite its relatively linear overarching structure. While there are RPG elements present, such as character progression and encounters framed as battles, these mechanics are intentionally streamlined to keep the focus squarely on narrative flow and player agency within the story. Visually, Demon King Domination: Deluxe Edition leans heavily into a colorful anime-inspired aesthetic. Character artwork is expressive and exaggerated, emphasizing personality and emotion through detailed portraits rather than complex animation. Backgrounds and scene compositions support the fantasy setting without overwhelming the presentation, reinforcing the visual novel roots of the project. The Deluxe Edition presentation packages these assets cleanly, offering a polished interface that makes navigating dialogue, choices, and scenes intuitive even for players new to the genre. The overall visual style reinforces the game’s lighthearted, sometimes tongue-in-cheek approach to its darker themes. Narratively, the game embraces its adult identity by weaving mature content directly into the plot instead of treating it as optional side material. Relationships, power dynamics, and encounters are integral to the story’s progression, and player decisions determine how these unfold. This integration gives the game a distinct identity within the adult RPG space, as it avoids the feeling of disconnected erotic scenes and instead presents them as part of a cohesive, if intentionally provocative, storyline. At the same time, the writing maintains a playful tone, often leaning into fantasy tropes and exaggerated characterization rather than aiming for grounded drama or realism. Audio design and music play a supportive role, enhancing mood shifts without drawing excessive attention to themselves. Musical cues tend to reinforce atmosphere rather than dominate scenes, helping transitions between dialogue-heavy segments and more event-driven moments feel natural. Interface design remains straightforward, prioritizing accessibility and pacing over depth, which further reinforces the game’s emphasis on narrative consumption rather than mechanical mastery. Ultimately, Demon King Domination: Deluxe Edition succeeds by knowing exactly what it wants to be and committing fully to that vision. It is not designed to compete with deep tactical RPGs or expansive strategy titles, but rather to offer a narrative-driven, adult fantasy experience where player choice and character interaction are the main attractions. For players who enjoy visual novels with light gameplay systems and are comfortable with mature themes as a central component, the game provides a distinctive and entertaining journey. Those seeking mechanical depth or traditional RPG progression may find it limited, but within its intended niche, Demon King Domination: Deluxe Edition delivers a cohesive and confident experience that embraces its premise without hesitation. Rating: 7/10
Good short game. Great voice acting. And the short span of the game is mixed and prolonged by an interesting battle mini-game. Will check other projects as well.
The princess gets tortured, but in a good way with great voice acting and music. The VA really shines in the 4 epilogues. There's no moaning or sound effects, just the VA reading the script you might say. So it was often unintentionally funny, but also sexy at the same time.

First let me say I like anime/hentai in general. That said DKD:DE fails pretty much in every way. During my admittedly short play time, my playthrough ended about as you'd expect...with the Demon King making you into a plaything. I believe the combat is winnable...but uninteresting characters and a meh story setup, left me uninterested in figuring out the game mechanic. Unless you find the non-consensual aspects of this game/story interesting I recommend a pass, even if you do find the non-consensual aspects interesting I recommend a pass as there are better offerings out there.
The girl is cute and the scenario is good but the writing, art, and voice acting are all bad. The game is fun once, then you've got it figured out and you use a guide on skip mode for every other playthrough. I will say I thought it was cool that there were drama-CD like unlockables in the extras. I personally didn't really enjoy these (the 3rd one was okay) partially because I wasn't that interested in the character/scenarios (again see bad writing), and partially because the voice acting was not good enough to carry, but I still thought it was cool to see outside of a Japanese game.
