1. As was correctly noted by one of the reviewers, troonslop implies the existence of troongem. Deltarune is a rare case of troongem. 2. Tobias Fox has no mental brakes inherent to w*stoid indieslop writers/developers when every ♥♥♥♥ remark or other wacky situation must be inevitably followed by a mock sense of "embarrassment". His characters are brashly honest about their feelings and therefore are actually characters. This writing style effectively makes him a honorary nipponese. Amen. 3. Don't be fooled by the whimsical visuals of this game. This is a masterfully crafted pyschological weapon that, when completed, leaves you obsessed with it, wanting more. I used to make fun of the Deltarune fandom for being extremely autistic, but now I understand: they're not assburgered -- they're traumatized. Poor souls. 4. Susie is one of those few things that give me power to pursue my dreams in real life. She's a f*male only nominally -- everything about her screams Achilles; the mighty warrior who is, though flawed, still capable of profound love. And therefore... I want to feel worthy of this love. I WANT TO FIX HER. This has a motivational effect similar to seeing a poster featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger or being exposed to Yukio Mishima's prose. When I feel like I'm about to drop the barbell, I think of Susie, I envision her smiling face and I GO FOR THAT EXTRA REP. 5. I have a recurring dream where I drive a shiny 1952 Studebaker Coupe and t-bone a minivan on I-95, a family of five. This began after the completion of chapter 3. The more I play this game, the more vivid this dream becomes.
