Delete

A thoroughly engaging and cerebral puzzler, Delete is a wonderful exercise in logical deduction. Essentially being a 3D minesweeper, I had an excellent time playing through Delete and it's 50 levels - and only found myself frustrated a couple of times right at the end because I couldn't keep a track of what squares I had already revealed. The variations are wonderfully handled (except the colours, which I think didn't add much and weren't very well used), and the entire game plays excellently and intuitively. Definitely worth the few hours it took to puzzle through, and a good showing from the developers.

Level 15 is non-deterministic from almost the very start of the level, meaning you'd have to guess to proceed. That's a really bad feature for Minesweeper, and puzzle games in general, even if you do get three lives per level.

8 out of 10 because there is a considerable amount of luck involved, witch makes it kind of annoying. I had to redo a level multiple times because there was a bomb in two squares and it could have been in any of them, and it just happen that I chose the wrong one, it was a bit lame.

Beautiful and short logic puzzles with an allowance for errors on each puzzle. Feels right at home with design-first minimalist puzzles (Maciej Targoni's klocki & PUSH come to mind) centered around minesweeper logic. The later levels do get complicated, but never to the point of needing notes or screenshots. Being able to highlight adjacent cells is a great feature. Achievements are earned in a single run.
