Well the game is oh ok, the game play is like if the engineer from team fortress 2 was in killing floor. the controls are simple but not that great, you can't crouch which is stupid since most shooters have this feature. the whole time you are playing is really much you shoot the monsters and let your sentry guns do the work for you, not really challenging. worst part is you can't save your progress with save cloud, and the levels are short. three levels only, and the bug issues are when you die you can still play the game but thats only in the second level so far i tested it.
I really wish there was a neutral option on here. Defense: abominations is a decent game for its price point. The creator got that part right. Unfortunately, it's also one of many generic-feeling games in unity that smack of being made by a guy who did a couple tutorials, then pieced something together in a week. Is it an ok game? Yeah. Is it entertaining for more than twenty minutes? Not particularly.

An extremely fun game! I enjoyed every bit of this tower defense type game, the level's are a bit of a grind but seems necessary for gameplay and progression reasons. Very straight forward and very beautiful maps. My only complaint is that the hand gun and the turrets have different sound volumes, so your main gun will be basically silent but the turret will bust your eardrums out. I liked this game and I give it a 8/10 for the type of game that it is.
Just bought this game yesterday and in my opinion it's an okay game for the .89 cents i spent on it. Not worth the $2.99 tho. the game isn't that bad for me to give it a dislike but it could sure use some work. First off the music is not fitting for this kinda game, The Music should be more intense and scary. There should be sounds for the Dinosaurs, Zombies, and other creatures in the game to add to the suspense and overall feeling of the game. The stamina bar depletes too fast, and our health gets wiped out too quickly. 2 to 3 hits from the enemy and your dead. This can get rather frustrating at times especially since the uptempo music is playing and there's no sound from the creatures they can easily get you from behind. Your character should be able to crouch, aim down sights and have use of melee weapons as well. I won't uninstall this game yet but will wait to see if the developers will put out any updates to make an okay game an even better game.
A rather lackluster and slow wave based fps. It's a bit of a grind but sadly one of the better asset flip type games. While I would avoid this one it may not be a bad option if you want a cheep and very simple game.
GARBAGE
Uses music as a replacement for any sound emissions from enemies at all, so they sneak up behind you, killing you in 2 hits or so. There isn't even any sound to let you know you got hit, like it's the '70s or something. Turrets also explode after 2 hits, wasting the precious resources youo have to walk through dark corridors to find, often unable to see even 20 feet ahead. Walk, not sprint, because the pathetically low stamina pool must be saved for when it's absolutely necessary, times you usually have about a second's warning for , before you must have killed the enemy, else you die 2 seconds later. Then you run out of ammo, because the dev is def a masochist and only gives 200 smg bullets at the start, and turrets of course don't last, so you're screwed. All of this makes for a lowfi RNGfest that RNGesus would banish to the fiery depths of Redmond. I've wanted a turret defense FPS for a decade or so, but THIS AIN'T IT, BOYS. 2/10, would never buy again from this dev, $2.99 wasted
DELET THIS
Defense: Abominations (D.A. for short) has an interesting mini-game with the basic concept of combining First Personal Shooting and Tower Defense game, with a little horror-survival game element. I am really, really fascinated with this basic concept. But does that mean D.A. is a well-made game? No. Actually, the game, in its current status, have bunches of problems, which literally ruin the gameplay experience. To name just a few: -Models and textures are shoddy; -One cannot get a appropriate feedback when hit the enemy; -The balance between the player and the enemy is radically uneven: even the slightest scratch from the enemy will cost half of the players hit points, and no turret could stand enemy attack twice(not to mention they cannot be repaired!); -The turret volume computing mechanism is confusing (sometimes horrible), and one would never understand why the turret cannot be placed on some obviously available space; -For some reason, once a turret is destroyed, it is impossible to rebuild a new one on the original position; -The fact that turrets are easily-destroyed making short-range-high-damage turrets (like shotgun or flame) extremely useless; ….Frankly, I have never been in such a discomposure in a tower-defense game. I hate to be too mean to the game makers, and considering that I do have some fun despite all the problems, so I would give a neutral (or mixed) comment. However, I feel sorry about the fact that it could be far, far better than what it is now. In its current state, the game worth no more than $1.
