Defend from Candyland!

"Defend from Candyland" is a colorful and engaging tower defense game set in the whimsical world of Candyland. Players must protect their kingdom from waves of sugary invaders using a variety of defensive towers and strategies.

This is a great little Tower Defence Game that has been carefully thought out in terms of the story line. Artwork has improved since I last saw the game in the store and the music is also very fitting for the game. So far I'm enjoying the game as a great way to spend some time out of the daily grind.

Like the old desktop tower defence but harder. Has a 7 level tutorial but even that isn't for the faint of heart. This is a game if you like a challenge. looking forward to trying out more of the game. Only thing that surprises me is that I gained 55% of achievements in under 5 hours, maybe a few harder ones would be a good add. Halloween pack music is infinitely better than the original the 1 p i paid for that alone was worth it. Will add another review when I have spent more time on it.

This game is simply lovely to play. Simple, yet good looking graphics and you can tell the developer put a lot of love into it. The beginning levels are relatively easy but quite soon you are thrown into the deep end and will really have to work to catch them apples. ;) I am not the greatest at puzzle games, but love them anyway. With Defend from Candyland, you really need to think about your actions if you want to make sure you get top ratings for each level. Highly recommended.

Just because it has a candy theme doesn't mean Defend From Candyland! is for kids. This is a VERY challenging tower defense game. The developer's love and hard work shows from the start; the hi-res pixel art is so well done that the troops are distinguishable from each other, and the animations are smooth. While there are a few things I'd personally like to see as a tower-defense novice (undo placement without having to sell the unit, a slower difficulty curve, less expensive upgrades), I really believe an experienced player of TD games will absolutely enjoy being challenged by this charming indie game. Looking forward to seeing more from MI Pixel! EDIT: I've played 30 hours, now, and I'm enjoying my introduction to tower defense (TD) gaming. A lot of fun building, adding to, and updating mazes ahead of the waves of candy. Days of gameplay, encouragement to challenge one's self to beat endless play high scores. I can put it down and pick it up, which is also nice. A great purchase.

Defend from Candyland is a solid TD game. Taking the battle of Veggies vs Candy to a whole new level! Really enjoy the design of the maps and being able to custom the map how I want with peashooters and cherry bombs! Into TD games, check this one out!

The upgrade tree has quite a bit, though it'll probably take a while to get everything. Gameplay is your typical tower defense fanfare. I'd say the game is appealing to people that like tower defense games, and it doesn't take much time to make that determination. Placing your variety of towers is simple, there's a speed increase button, and the whole candy vs trees bit is cute. There's not a whole lot else for me to say to be honest. If you like Tower Defense titles, this is worth a go.
