Like any good incremental game, the core gameplay revolves around a simple mechanic that is fun enough. Here, you control a submarine that follows your mouse cursor and automatically attacks anything that enters its attack radius. Your only job is to guide it toward enemies and collect the resources they drop. Those resources are then invested into a classic upgrade tree that steadily makes you stronger and more efficient. As always, you begin with a single visible upgrade in the middle of the tree while everything else remains hidden. Buying an upgrade for the first time reveals all the nodes connected to it. Purchasing one of those newly revealed upgrades then uncovers even more, and this continues until you've gradually exposed the entire tree. It creates a nice sense of discovery because you never know what new ability or mechanic you'll unlock next. Some upgrade nodes can be purchased multiple times, with their maximum level shown when you hover your cursor over them. Hovering also reveals exactly what each upgrade does. At first, you'll improve basic stats such as damage, firing range, enemy spawn rate, and resource gain. Later on, you'll unlock entirely new attacks, including lasers and explosions, along with tougher enemy types that cause even more destruction when defeated. The upgrade tree is presented in a very clean and stylish way. Nodes that you can currently afford are clearly highlighted, while fully upgraded ones shrink down and fade into the background, making it easy to spot what still needs your attention. The only downside is that many upgrades repeat several times. Since most of them can only be upgraded two or three times before reaching their maximum level, the tree ends up looking larger than it actually is because many of its nodes are repeated. Progress comes from destroying rocks, collecting the experience they leave behind, and leveling up in a way that feels very similar to a roguelite. Every time your experience bar fills up, you choose one perk from a random selection of three. These perks are similar to upgrades found in the main tree, but they only last for your current run. They come in different rarity tiers and can be selected multiple times to make them even stronger. Once you've built up enough firepower and fuel to clear several stages and defeat a boss, you unlock submarine upgrades. These provide several permanent perks, which are revealed as you progress, but they also function as a prestige system. Upgrading your submarine resets the entire upgrade tree, sending you back to the beginning while making future runs more powerful. You'll also unlock the next area, which follows the same basic formula but features much tougher rocks that have a chance to drop more valuable resources. At first, you'll probably struggle to destroy them efficiently, so you can always return to the previous area and farm resources until you're stronger. Thankfully, every prestige rewards you with a generous amount of cash, allowing you to quickly purchase a handful of your early upgrades and get back into the action. One feature I absolutely loved is the auto buy option because it removes much of the repetitive busywork. With a single click, the game automatically purchases every upgrade it can afford, starting with the cheapest ones. It's such a simple quality of life feature, but after using it here, I'll definitely miss it in other incremental games. Auto buy isn't the only thing that carries over between runs. You'll also collect relics by reaching milestones and earning achievements, such as destroying a certain number of enemies. Relics are excellent because their bonuses are always active. They can increase torpedo damage, double resource gains, expand your experience pickup range, and provide plenty of other useful effects. Overall, it takes around two to three hours to finish the game and unlock most of its achievements. Only the final achievement significantly extends that playtime because, by the time you reach the end, you'll still be only around 20 percent of the way toward completing it.
너무 재미있어요, 디자인도 좋고, 속도감도 너무 좋았습니다. 잘 만든 인크리멘탈게임입니다.
At first, it seemed pretty simple, but the more upgrades I unlocked, the more I wanted to see what combinations I could come up with next. The chain reaction explosions are really satisfying, and before I knew it, I'd been playing much longer than I expected.
