About
Our deep-level mining operations have gone dark. Deep Rock Galactic needs them back online at any cost. We’re sending in a crack squad of Reclaimers to breach and secure the mines, and kill whatever’s down there.
Your survival is not necessary for the success of this mission.
Step into the boots of the Reclaimers, Deep Rock Galactic’s elite corporate security force. In fast-paced 1-4 player co-op gameplay, you’ll fight through alien-infested mines as five playable classes:
GUARDIAN: The walking shield. An expert in area denial and close protection. Damages enemies with concussive blasts, and restores the team’s armor.
FALCONER: The aerial attacker. Deploys an airborne assault drone to electrify enemies. In an emergency, can even revive teammates from afar.
RETCON: The hologram berserker. Can warp back to a previous point in spacetime, restoring health and ammo to recover from dangerous situations. Lethal in all time zones.
SPOTTER: The marksman. Highlights and weakens targets with toxin darts, spots enemies through walls, and can deploy ammo crates for use in extended firefights.
SLICER: The melee expert. Carries an energy blade capable of dismembering all but the toughest opponents. Mobile, agile, aggressive.
No two runs are the same. The roguelike format means you’ll scavenge your weapons and equipment from within the mines, and collect resources to upgrade your gear and abilities. Choose from a deep pool of upgrades for your weapons and abilities, discovering lethal synergies and snowballing in power as you fight your way down to the Rift Gate.
Linger too long, and the Reaperworms will hear you. Explore each level of the mine for upgrades, equipment and resources — but remember that each stop costs precious time. Stick with your team, move quickly, and push forward at all costs.
Nobody said this would be easy. But death is only a setback. Dive, dig, die, and dive again.
Procedurally-generated caves mean every single mission gives a unique challenge of traversal and exploration. Featuring 100% destructible terrain, you can dig, carve and explode the caves around you to level the playing field. Fight your way deeper through natural caverns and enormous industrial structures.
These mines are infested with Corespawn: the most aggressive, resilient and intelligent alien life we’ve ever encountered on Hoxxes IV. 20+ different enemy types and 3 different bosses are lying in wait. Use whatever means necessary to eliminate them.
Between missions, you’ll find yourself aboard the RV-09 Ramrod. Here, you and your squad can access rich metaprogression and extensive character customization to bring into your next deployment. Lift weights, braid your beard, hit the dance floor, and have a beer with your team.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Attention miners! As someone who's spent hundreds of hours down in the caves of Hoxxes, I was incredibly excited when Deep Rock: Rogue Core was announced. I'd never really been much of a roguelike player beyond Hades, but the idea of seeing the Deep Rock formula adapted into a new genre was something I couldn't wait to try. I haven't played every class yet, but I've had an absolute blast with Retcon, Spotter, and Slicer. They seem to fit my preferred playstyle really well; aggressive while still giving me enough tools to play defensively and support the team. Every run has been exciting, and unique. What surprised me most is how different the pacing feels. Regular Deep Rock Galactic is often a game where you can relax, chat with friends, and enjoy the mining between the chaos. Rogue Core, on the other hand, demands your attention. It feels somewhere between a Deep Dive and an Elite Deep Dive, you're engaged almost constantly, but it never crosses the line into feeling exhausting or unfair. It's challenging in a way that keeps you locked in without becoming frustrating. The recent update was also a huge step in the right direction. Before it, there were moments where the progression systems didn't quite click for me. In co-op especially, having different upgrade rarities for different players often made decisions feel a little too obvious or unfair. The new changes have made the whole experience feel much smoother, and I'm really happy with the direction the game is heading. It's still early, and I don't think it has quite the same level of polish or content as Deep Rock Galactic yet, but I don't really see that as a criticism, it's to be expected. Deep Rock itself took time to become the phenomenal game it is today. I'm confident in Ghost Ship Games. They've consistently shown how much they care about both their games and their community, and I have every confidence they'll give Rogue Core the same level of love and attention over time. Overall, I've had a fantastic time with Rogue Core. It still unmistakably feels like Deep Rock, while carving out its own identity. I can't wait to see where Ghost Ship Games takes it over the coming months and years. Rock and Stone Reclaimers!
PEAK
It's a good time! Can't wait for it grow and get more content to help fill in gaps. Gameplay loop is solid, could use a little extra mmmph (i don't know what it's missing but it's like 85-90% there?). Enemy pathing can be a bit derpy and skitter at mach 10, and their passing through the terrain can be a bit goofy. (Too large of model squeezing through a 2 inch crack in the floor). Upgrade choices are nice and feel fun, can't wait for them to be expanded in the future. Somethings I'd like to see in the future (that are almost entirely extra and not at all important the game's functionality and just of my opinion): - ship interior decoration - bar/dance space + mission area decor [both are a bit barren] - workout records - host's workout space has rep record counter, can be overridden by other users so people can compete - loadout selection - lower tier selected traits be discolored/different colors to show what's been selected already - right-click to remove the already chosen trait I mean that's just my immediate thoughts thus far. I like the direction things are going I LOVE the chaos when the level counter zeroes out and you got caught greeding out for an event and the reaperworms come out (those things are terrifying on my first experience, I like that you can't kill them and you can only contain them) You can make some pretty fun builds if you can get the right traits + bio buffs, but that's basically every roguelite. I enjoy, would recommend. Just be mindful that (as of writing this) still early access, some parts being worked on. I haven't tried the gauntlet yet but I'm curious as to what that is going to look like. But ye - soliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiid 8.1/10 - good stuff - fan of the direction - potential to get crazy and fun EDITS: You don't need a full lobby either to have fun either - I've soloed some depth 1 & 2 levels to get my feet wet and those were wild rides and a fun challenge. 2-3 people is rock solid and can get you through the mid depths, 4 people makes for a real fun time because you can hit those post-timer windows and soak in the madness that period brings. I mainly have been playing Guardian so I haven’t really dipped my toes into the other classes (barely tried slicer and spotter but those were fun in the one run each). I wouldn’t be opposed to extra classes in the future or some way to edit the characters ability loadout with differing abilities from what is baseline but that might be something way down the line post full release
