Fun concept. Had a build so broken I one shot the last boss, love to see it. Highly recommend lances. I ran into a bug I think, I tried frost build and my cards were all doing negative damage, with no indication of what was causing it. Easy purchase, TurtleFox is 2 for 2 so far. Excited to see where this goes.
Wow, this is even better than Talented, their first game. Note that content is limited but for less than $5 it's hard to beat. Decked out is a more active game, meaning you actually play more of your cards actively. Making better decisions and combos. Currently two hero to play, looks like more coming. High recommend for a Sunday morning with Coffee

I have no idea how this game has flown so far under the radar, especially given how much Talented blew up, because this is PHENOMENAL. I absolutely loved Talented but after a few runs I think I prefer this. The town is a nice addition, especially since the timing of the upgrades has decent tactical impact, so it's not just about what benefits you right now. The main appeal to me though is the amount of depth in the build-craft, and it's REALLY satisfying to see your build come together. I've only played a couple of runs since the early access launched (played a bunch in the demo) but already I've seen some really interesting synergies. Like there's an item which increases your basic attack rate with each card you play, so I spent the whole run with a super tiny deck, never really buying cards, just aggressively making things as cheap as possible and grabbing anything that made me draw faster - and with a small deck that became very dependable. I then hoarded all my gold for a legendary lance card that returns to your hand after being played, then the game became spamming mana regen and that lance card until my basic attack looked like an M61 Vulcan minigun... glorious! In contrast, my previous run was all about maximising the number of additional spawns from Orb cards and holding back, playing slow until there was a lot of enemies on screen, then dropping a minefield of hell for them - quite slow and tense getting the mana up and not panicking and dropping those expensive cards too earlier, even though things were getting upsettingly close to the wall. Both runs took like 30mins each and they felt completely different. Not had much free time lately but looking forward to seeing how the other builds play - judging by the various card family types I'm sure there's much more to discover! :D
I can't believe this game is only $4. Runs are fast, the core gameplay is super fun, the base-building element is stripped down and satisfying, and there's just enough depth and difficulty to keep you hooked. If you're not convinced, at least try the demo. It's substantial, and you'll know in 30 seconds if you like the game.
Another masterpiece, definitely a fun game, I'm looking forward to more updates.
I think it’s a brilliant blend of tower defence and roguelike, a game I’ve enjoyed right from the beta and can’t wait to see in its full version
As of now... solid bones, and since these developers have been very consistent over the years with upgrading and patching their content consistently enough that they've definitely earned the benefit of the doubt. For the price, it's going to be worth your money. For sure. It's not a perfect game. Early on, it's got the same unlucky frustrations as Talented, just watching yourself get smacked by things you can't do anything else about. But the game doesn't seem afraid of letting you have fun getting OP either, so that makes the wins that bit more rewarding. Solid flow. I personally like a bit of grindy. Same aesthetic you already know you like, if you came from Talented. Easy 8/10
Really fun game. I like the concept and the card system and upgrading. Cant wait to see where this goes. Super happy to support this dev as well.
very cool design, love these devs. I got a good amount of time out of Talented, their other game. I think it's still early but I think this will be a very fun game once it's done. Big love to TurtleFox.
If you like roguelites then you will love this game. It is made the dev of Talented one of my favorite roguelites and this game is just amazing. I love the deckbuilding and tower defense.
