Suuuuuper rich with rewards and fun stacking combinations. Balance and pacing can be a bit up and down, but there's a lot of fun in here. Worth checking out!
Can definitely recommend. As with most deck builders, the first couple of runs were pretty difficult until you learn synnergies and what things to go for/avoid, but once you find a play style that suits you it's a ton of fun. It's also pretty viable going for wildly different strategies, like sacrificing a lot of health in an early shop for a gold card, all in on one color (fire/lightning/etc) or doing a mix.
Nice tower defense game. I bought it without really knowing a lot about it but I am glad I did cause it's fun and offers variety :)
Okay, took me an hour to figure this Tower Defense out. This tower defense is a roguelite meaning you get to keep your progression. I can admit, I felt confused in the beginning, and nothing seemed to make sense. I played through it, and little by little I understood it more and more. So, the way to make your build better is to collect shards by completing silly easy tasks. For instance, don't use any towers, just traps and special abilities. By the way, the traps are very powerful and I think the developer made the point by completing that task. Each one of the silly acquiring shards tasks have a purpose for you to realize how to win. After each round, you enter the card shops, and my favorite is the apprentice card smith. He doubles your firepower for the next round. You can even meet a woman who upgrades your bronze cards to silver and upgrades your silver cards to gold. Overall, an excellent tower defense, but the incorporation of deckbuilder/roguelite is strong. Give it time. It took me an hour to figure the main gist of everything going on. Graphics 10/10 Audio 10/10 First Impressions Brain cells exploded Impressions after an hour 8/10 Impressions after I figured out mostly everything 9/10. Could things be clearer? Yes, but I'm not sure because at the beginning you're bombarded with instructions on how to play. There is a demo. Don't give up. It;s much more than a pretty face.
Really fun mechanics and customizability in runs. Have supplemented Hearthstone as my "slack-off" game!
I really enjoy this game. One of my all-time favorites is Bloons TD, and this gives me a similar vibe. The big difference is the card system, which I think adds a lot. It actually feels like you’re building something over time and getting stronger, not just playing the same thing over and over.
ENGLISH VERSION BELOW

Hello everyone!
Deck vs Doom is a mix between roguelite, deckbuilding, and tower defense — you build a deck to place towers, cast spells, and try to go as far as possible! Review done on Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/hyrroh
Positive points:
- The art style is very nice - Different types of cards: towers, spells, and traps to stop enemies from advancing - Artifacts that can influence battles - A skill tree for the roguelite progression aspect
Negative points:
- Major display issues — some buttons look quite basic, and during the start of a run, the starting card selection hides too much of the map (even though there’s an option to view only the map, you should be able to see both the cards and the full map at once) - Some secondary objectives seem nearly impossible at times — I think they can only be completed once you’ve upgraded your skill tree - The skill tree upgrades are way too expensive! It really feels like you have to grind a lot to progress
Areas for improvement:
- Fix the UX/UI interface - Reduce the costs in the skill tree The game is quite good overall — the concept works well, but a bit of rebalancing in progression would make it much more enjoyable. Overall score: 15/20
