Un véritable grand coup de coeur pour ce jeux. L'histoire est incroyable , les musiques sont magnifique , la pate graphique marche super bien pour le jeux , vraiment adoré faire ce jeux
FANTASTIC game. Beautiful art, wonderful music, captivating story. There were points that I needed to go to bed and I accidentally played another hour or two just because I couldn't put it down. Everything was interesting and engaging, even up to and past the credits.
THIS IS A THUMBS IN THE MIDDLE. I was contemplating for a while if I still should give it a thumbs up or down, but we'll get to that. Took me ~6.2 hours to complete for a first playthrough, 7/15 Achievements. (I will talk about the Achievements a bit later and spoiler tag them...) So let's get the good out of the way first: The artstyle/detail is fantastic, so are the animations and the few locations that are here, are interesting. Akira Yamaoka contributed to it and it shows because the atmosphere in some sections was really good. That's it. And keep in mind, this is my personal opinion, it doesn't mean someone else can't find more "enjoyment" here. Regarding the Soundtrack apart from Akira Yamaoka, it just wasn't my cup of tea. For the most part I really disliked it. Gameplay was kinda sprinkled in very sparingly. Basically Decarnation is a 2D-Isometric-Movie-like-Walking Simulator with not even a handful puzzles strewn in and a few QTE and "Rhythm" Sections. I have to admit, most of the time I was bored out of my mind. The Youtuber RagnarRox praised this Game and usually I am at least intrigued, but here, nothing. I felt nothing apart from boredom. The story didn't grab me as I thought it would. It was not scary, the "psychological horror" elements were not disturbing (maybe because the artstyle was overall too cute?) and apart from a few sections that were pretty interesting (when it went more into Thriller territory) were far and few between. You can see the "plot twist" from a mile away... I also didn't care about the main character that much, even though she was set up pretty well. I got some of the underlying messages here but it seemed a bit pretentious and also didn't let me feel anything. The ending also left me void of any feelings. And now regarding the Achievements. There are only 15 Achievements and on paper they all sound super easy. They are kind of but also not. For example the Achievement
for 5-Star-ing the Rhythm Sections. I don't know what it was, but a) the buttons were not really on rhythm and b) the input was way off even though I definitely hit the notes
or the Achievement for
winning 5 Games against the Magician. First when I met him I won against him 3 times, since I didn't see the Achievement I stopped and then met him again later, tried again and he was cheating! I literally made 5-6 videos with my smartphone to check but yeah, he was shuffling the cards around later on, which is complete BS and was a complete waste of my time.
But apart from that, I don't really have much to say about this "Game". It also had a few annoying bugs where I had to restart some sections. And also some sections were going on for longer than they should have. I am pretty sure that there is a big group of people who will find enjoyment here, but for me this was a snoozefest. Sorry. I really wanted to like this.
Fenomenalna gra. Zaczynając od pierwszej warstwy czyli warstwy wizualnej, grafika pixel-art robi cudowną robotę. Ścieżka dźwiękowa... fakt, że wykonywał ją Akira Yamaoka mówi sam za siebie - PETARDA. A fabuła? Wbija Cię w fotel, podczas grania tworzy Ci się w głowie tysiące teorii, tylko po to, aby Ci zryć głowę końcówką i otworzyć oczy na wiele aspektów w życiu.
