About
Debris Zone is a top-down multiplayer space shooter set in a galaxy of drifting wreckage, contested territory, and trigger-happy pilots. Jump through portals into a connected world of open maps, each packed with enemies, loot, and lurking bosses, then fight in fast, skill-based dogfights where managing your shields and hull is the difference between a clean kill and a trip back to the repair station.
Customize your ship with lasers, shields, engines, amors and drones, hunt for gear to push your build further, and take on towering boss encounters with serious rewards. Earn gems, gold, and experience as you complete quests, climb the ranks, and unlock prestige titles to flaunt above your ship - all in a persistent online galaxy where every other pilot is a potential ally or you next target.
Suit up, pilot. The Debris Zone is waiting.

I was excited to give this a try. It was just released today, already ppl from beta testing way ahead. There was no reset when launched. Player on discord "Iwakura" toxic af. This game is a straight up copy n paste of Dark Orbit. same ships, items, npc, ect. Very slightly changed visually and on the names. But the maps, weapons, shields, ect all straight up copied. Nothing seems original about this.
This is not a new release or new server for steam. Its been out a long time, disappointing!
Just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ai recreation of Dark Orbit. Doesnt even have much of the content the old game had.

"I tried the game two weeks ago on the official launcher, and coming from DarkOrbit, I can say this game is incredibly well-made. It’s built with a lot of love and attention to detail that easily surpasses DarkOrbit and other games of this style. As you progress, the farming rewards increase, along with the events and everything else. It might still need a bit of polishing in some areas, like adding an auction system, more designs, gates, and extra PvE content. However, as someone who played DarkOrbit for over 10 years, I can tell you that the 3D modeling is excellent and it just needs to be refined little by little. It might not have a ton of marketing right now, but you can truly feel the care behind it. You have to keep in mind that it's not a massive company; it seems like there are only one or two people behind this magnificent game, but even so, it's a 10/10. I would definitely give it a chance. Highly recommended!
Add like 20 more hours to my experience since i started before Steam release. Music and sound effects are relaxing, it's so relaxing that i still haven't muted it after these hours. You can have extremely close contact with developer on Discord and if you have a quality of life problem, the solution you suggested can be implemented very soon. Personally i find these kind of games repetitive and boring to play too much but developer is trying their best to push different events and create purpose in game to keep it alive. It's still a young game but at this pace i'm sure it will be more and more entertaining in no time. I also like the fact there isn't extreme levels of grind to complete most of the basic progression, most of the maps you can farm in have PvP disabled so you can play in peace. As a negative, i found events too repetitive compared to what gameplay and rewards they offer. And the thing is if you have a bright idea on how to make events more exciting, you can drop your suggestions and talk with developer easily.
