i played through the normal levels fast and it was fun. but i gave up on the hardcore levels. they are pretty hard xD i would have liked to stand up instead of sit but it was still fine. its one of the better vr games i played in this price range i think.
I'm glad I took a chance on this game. It's not really a horror game, there's no jump scares, and actually has a great sense of humor. It just puts you under a lot of pressure to solve minigames before a train hits you. This is one of those perfect social first timer VR experiences like Richie's Plank. It does a great job of changing things up to keep it interesting. For experienced gamers who can keep cool under pressure it doesn't have much to offer. I only failed once and probably wouldn't replay it. But watching my friends flip out will be awesome.
Great game, not super scary but the hardcore mode really is a fun challenge. Great use of VR mechanics!
pretty fun game, the trailer i guess was supposed to be sensational and didn't show much Gameplay but i was positively surprised by it. the lock mechanic is interesting. definitely worth the money.
Game is pretty lame. Same rail station from Onward. Unlock some keys floating around to drop chair into tracks to avoid the oncoming train. Maybe worth 2.99 but thats about it. Not really very scary compared to games like Paranormal Activity.
i like the premise, being hit by a train is actually scary at first. later its more about the panic. the game manages to keep up a certain amount of pressure throughout the levels and you feel like your time is running out. every level is unique and has something new in it so i never felt bored. the hardcore levels are pretty unfair though. compared to some other small vr indie games this one has some substance.
I would not have recommended this game if it were not for the included hardcore mode that unlocks, after you beat the default difficulty. I finished the game in about an hour and think it is a pretty unique puzzle/race against the clock style game in VR. I am going to be using this in October to share with friends for the upcoming Halloween season, since it is a pretty great fit and almost anyone can play with no complicated instructions or locomotion to teach new players. The only thing that I would like, is an update to bring up a menu while in game, to choose another level, restart a level, and a setting to put music on by default (as this really adds to the suspense of the game). It is the right price for me at $10, for the reason that I will be sharing it with friends during the October Halloween season but reputability for myself isn't there, though if you like these types of quick thinking, reflexive puzzle games the hardcore mode is well worth trying out.
Death train? The only thing dead, was the brain cells i lost playing this trash.
Was a fun little game when it worked. Now its broken and You cant get pass the set up screen. Try to grab the key and nothing happens. Its been years and devs are just leaving it like this. Dont waste your money on this.
2/10 not sure where people are getting all the steam keys for this, getting dumped all over the place
