Ziemlich schräg aber ich mag es
City of Fools might be a good idea in theory, while it's a good mix of point n click and hidden object it does fall flat on everything else. You notice quickly that this is a low budget shovelware game originally released on BigFish a decade ago. There's not much else to say than that the game is tedious with lots of backtracking, it's quite open world so only with the hint system you might in some cases know where to go. The world and story is stupid, with the ending being anything but satisfying. Not really recommending this game at all tbh, there's better games in the genre out there.

I love this game. This is the best game
If you can overlook the unattractive NPCs, the game itself was pretty fun to play. It's a nice little treat, more junk food than anything. I don't think I'd fully tack on the Hidden Object label on this one, although there were very short HO scenes present in the gameplay. If anything to categorize this game, it's definitely a Fetchquest. There's a joy to it, there's definitely something fun about being able to pick up a lot of items in game as you please, amassing a treasure of miscellaneous objects, and slowly watching them decrease from your inventory as you give them away (earning money too) until you're left with the final pieces. It's definitely a flawed game. If you're aiming to play this, I'd recommend having a notepad or pen and paper ready to use. The map and taskbook do not indicate which npcs are located where and when you have 123 tasks to do, it's easy to forget and navigate where each person lives. Trust me. It was hell. You can also consult a couple posts on Big Fish forums for the task list and NPC location if you can't be buggered to write on your own. There is a quicktravel system in a game but it's useless unless you know where to go (which is almost always the case, haha). Occassionally, some NPCs will consist of either a very easy and short HO scene or some kind of minigame. Those minigames don't take more than 3 minutes to do, so if you're not into HO or puzzles, you'll be fine. Overall, nice timewaster. Pretty pricey for its retail, I would have said $3-5 is a good number. Either pick it up when it's in a bundle or it's on a heavy discount.
wow, i don't even know where to start, this game is just breathtaking, the visuals and cinematics are out of this world. the massive open world game-play has me playing this game for hours. boss fights that are fun and engaging with intense lore, would recommend, 10/10
Мой город и знакомые мне люди
Game for fools made by fools. Seriously it's a disaster.
City of Fools is an odd little HOG. It has a nice artstyle, controls well and interesting puzzles. It's very different than the average good vs evil HOG. It has a peculiar story with even more peculiar characters. Being different is a good thing sometimes...
