At the current state it is a no, zombies too fast (give a chance for someone to play), no exit button (got trapped in tutorial), over-complicated reload (till you do all the things you need to reload you are dead), I felt like I was stuck in a smaller body, played with 2 friends and another 3 watching through stream, we all disliked it, we couldnt even go through wave 1 on normal, sometimes we had sound and sometimes we didnt. Playing this game with temperature at 30oc isnt fun and also the exp we had. Maybeee again later if it gets fixed better
This game might have the worst melee combat I've experienced, guns were fun
Находясь в главном меню, уже понял что игра калл.
At first I thought the problem was the amount of zombies, but the biggest issue is their running animation then them getting stuck in you. Like if you don't get the perfect kick or headshot you're getting hit and if there is more than one you're pretty much dead. Kind of unplayable solo for me at least, awaiting further patchwork. Also explosions/grenades appear useless or broken, legit still can't beat the 2nd mission
Don't play it yet. the game shows promise but it desperately needs more content and a few tweaks. ok so with my limited playtime take this review with a grain of salt. the iron sights are nigh impossible to use, it could just be my inability to hold a virtual firearm straight but the bullets seemed to spawn from an odd angle on the weapon making it curve upwards to the right, just enough to offset iron sights but wouldnt be noticed otherwise. the detection for grabbing and placing barricades needs work, you need the perfect angle to grab or place them but its always towards the centre of the object, boards should be grabbable on the entire object, and placing should detect if your aiming at the top or bottom placeable location not just the centre, also why cant i smack the zombie with the board? weapons have no collision, the zombie should not be able to walk right through the barrel of a rifle, either push it aside or push it back towards you, or make it act as a solid wall because holding a zombie hostage at the end of a sniper barrel would be funny. zombies can sometimes spawn inside you if your in a small room (it happened twice while i was in the snipers room in the pub), this is a problem for obvious reasons. Why are zombies allowed to climb sheer walls? why cant i climb anything? why don't hordes trip when getting pushed up stairs? why can't i close or open doors on rooms i can already enter? why do zombies always spawn close to you once you've "started the horde"? whats the point of a sniper if the zombies always spawn close to you? why can't i hit zombies with my fists or any object other than melee weapons and kicks? its the small details that matter, add enough details on solid core mechanics and a game will thrive, bonus if you don't say all the small details you add, rewarding curiosity with small details keeps players coming back for more. now i must mention the combat is pretty good if you don't use iron sights, the map is decently big (but since zombies spawn close to you you'll never see it all unless you deliberately explore), the controls are easy to understand and use, monthly updates are always a good sign. all in all its got a ways to go but its got the potential to get it there, it's worth buying to support the devs but id wait a few months before playing.
its a very cool game to play with friends and if ur alone theirs alot of jumpscares i higly recomend it
Death Harvest is a VR survival shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies. Players have access to a wide variety of firearms and melee weapons. I really like the visual effects that add realism to the gameplay, such as blood splatter effects, dynamic cloud shadows and weather changes, birds flying in the sky, and insects hovering over trash bins in alleyways. The gameplay is stable, I haven't experienced any critical bugs or crashes. Even though the game is still in Early Access, it already delivers a lot of fun when it comes to shooting zombies — and that’s what matters most. It is also worth mentioning the favorable price of the game, which is around PLN 35.
