**Hours played inaccurate** I was gifted a code for this game from a stream back in late 2018 back on itchio. When it was released on steam, I got to transfer it here via steam code. It's been a little over 2 years and I still think fondly of this visual novel. I wish I logged my hours back before it was on Steam! The characters are charming, attractive, and ... creepy! I have recommended this to my friends who like horror and dating sim style VNs, and have been dying to discuss this with anyone even though it's been so long since I played it. I'd LOVE to watch someone I know or a streamer run this from the beginning and pick characters without knowing their story. I finished all routes. Sound & Visuals: The voice acting is DEFINITELY the best I have seen from an indie game, and would argue it's better than some acting on big games localized to English. The art was great before and is great after the changes made, without it losing character. The soundtrack is memorable enough that I can still recall them after 2 years- the songs are moody and fitting for the situations they are used in. Story: The characterizations are charming in a way that there is definitely a character for everyone, and it's typically hard not to hate someone; even a murderer. I personally loved that some routes (you'll have to play to find out which) are either surprisingly less morbid than you think, or are actually pleasant to experience. The main character is easy to relate to with the neutral pronouns and has fun options to choose from in dialogue, without them being too soft. The MC does break and is disgusting to watch them turn into, which is something a horror VN would expect to deliver on. Character interactions were consistent and enjoyable to watch develop.. or crumble. My Final Thoughts: My favorite character ended up being Ophelia. Fun fact, her voice actress Ao is also the artist!! How cool is that? I drew fanart of Ophelia DURING her routes because I couldn't contain my adoration for her and can't help but smile when I come across the file in my art backups. I enjoyed Sergio's route much more than anticipated! I also liked Clement, Nanako, and Kazue's all for different reasons. Mateo, Allegra, and Vincent were very memorable routes for me. I would comment on all of them, but I would not want to give anything away! I have never enjoyed myself so much with an indie VN before- thank you to the tiny VIOLET team for creating something I will look fondly on for many more years.

Great VN, incredible soundtrack, highly recommended to anybody looking for a darker or horror-themed visual novel!
Just spent 6hrs straight beating this entire game, and I loved every minute of this wild, unhealthy ride.
Ok first of all, playtime is inaccurate, as I got the game on ichio and played a whole-ass 50 hours of it. With that out of the way, I'll tell you how I feel about this game and why I recommend it. I like this game. I don't normally go for western VN's cuz I prefer an anime style rather than anime-inspired. However, I will tell you that the ladies in this game are absolutely top-tier. Like Eira's smile made me melt into a puddle and I had trouble doing her routes cuz to be honest I just wanted to stay on that one page forever and never have to see her unhappy again. She was(and still is) my best girl. Honestly, I would date all the ladies in this game if I didn't have commitment issues. Even the crazy ones. The dude I like the most is Sergio on the basis that he was very cute and had a charm to him that was reminiscent of one of my old OC's. He also looked like the devs put a lot of love into his design. The man has shark teeth, frosted tips, a beauty mark, beautiful soulful amber eyes, a tattoo, and he wears a suit. Most folks would say "that's too much" but I tell you what, slick, I need that kinda man in my life. That is some spectacular design choice. I love it. 10/10 would buy ice cream for. In terms of writing and content, I feel like the routes were a little short, but given the massive cast, it makes sense to me. I mean that's alright, I don't mind. With the "darker" stuff, I am coming from the perspective of a fanfic author and I write in/frequent the "whump" tag on AO3. I'm very desensitized to such things. Vincent's and Lucien's and Mateo's routes ain't no big deal to me. Tho uh, big fat ♥♥♥♥♥♥' warning if you're sensitive to that stuff. I'm made of stern stuff, but I know a lot of folks aren't, so, just be careful. I won't spoil anything for you, but I might steer clear of those dudes' routes if "darker stuff" ain't your thing. I do remember an in-game warning about the routes you're getting into tho, and I think that's pretty great to be honest. Thank you for that, Violet Dev Team. The voice acting I could take or leave, like I don't think the voice actors did a bad job, it was more that unless it's Hakuoki where I can hear ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Kaiba's voice comin' outta Kazama's mouth, I ain't wanna hear no voice acting in my VN. In terms of the scandal, I was very disappointed about that, but I was able to forgive it. Tracing is bad, art theft is bad. However, the main thing I'm concerned over is the fact that this was made by a two-person dev team. I really hope that the creators are doing OK. tl;dr, despite everything, I think this is a good game. I had a lot of fun playing it, and I think other folks will, too. Eira is the girl of my dreams and I wanna make her happy. Please treat her well!
mateo my little meow meow <3
There is a ridiculous amount of routes in this VN and I want to explore all of them.
I've only gone through 1.5 maybe 2 routes at most so far, but all the characters intertwine between different routes' stories, that is, they are all part of the same environment. The more you play, the more you come to learn about these characters and their secret vices and beef with other characters. As you become more knowledgeable about different characters' hidden motives towards others, you'll find yourself rooting for teams you may not have towards the beginning of your time with this game, and that's what I love most about this game as a whole. Highly recommend.
It's another game that makes me certain how messed up my mind is. How f up my view on romance is. How I would develop Stockholm Syndrome if I have ever found myself in Vincent apartment. I mean, yeah, maybe he has hurt me, but???? WOOF WOOF BARK BARK. He is my soulmate. He is my pookie, my boo, my babygirl. My therapy session is by the end of the month.
If you buy this game you get 12 games in one. Most of the romances are very dark and toxic but surprisingly there are also some routes that end fairly normal. Not all routes were up my alley but there were clearly several that I enjoyed a lot, so I definitely recommend this game for lovers of dark otome.
i feel kinda bad for them <3
One of my favorite games of all time! the length of the routes are rather short, so nothing starts to get dull or overdone. The protagonist is one of my favorite parts of the game. while depressing, they are really relatable and that helped make the game feel more immersive. The characters (and the relationships between each love interest) feel incredibly realistic, like they are not just video game characters, but real people put into the game. play play play! (I played the rest of the game off-steam so my numbers are not accurate)
