Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Likely exists due to a contractual obligation, and starts out really bad but eventually becomes fun to play. It doesn't really feel like a retro game so much as a modern rail fighter with button timing elements. The game doesn't explain the combos, but once you actually know the correct way to play it becomes logical and intuitive. You can, for example, use a button combo to knock a zombie back and send its head flying to kill all the zombies behind him. If you don't know the combo it's just confusing and annoying, and since the game doesn't explain anything, I recommend looking it up. Also, the points system is bizarre and if you don't know how it works you will get rated 1/5 stars on every level which feels like an insult since there's no explanation to what you need to do. Ultimately, if you can get past the fact that the game doesn't ease you into anything, it's worth playing, though barely since it's still very shallow and repetitive.

Retro atmosferin o kendine has dokusuyla birleşen Dead Island: Retro Revenge, serinin hayatta kalma ruhunu 16-bit atari salonu estetiğiyle buluşturan tam bir nostalji bombası!
Dead Island Retro Revenge is a fast-paced, 2D side-scroller that throws you into a zombie apocalypse with over-the-top action and a healthy dose of retro charm. Beat down zombies, collect power-ups, and level up in a throwback to classic arcade brawlers — all with a humorous, pixelated twist. Perfect for fans of old-school, no-holds-barred zombie slaying! 🧟♂️💥🎮
Dead Island Retro Revenge is not from the original Dead Island Developers. BUT it can be fun, at least if you enjoy Retro-Style-Games. The concept is the same like in old 16-bit Retro games, you walk / run through the levels, kill zombies, collect power ups and farming points while switching the three lines, upper, middle and bottom. The goal is to get better and better highscores, like in a arcade hall from thje 80's and 90's. For me it was fun so i would recommend it to hardcore retro fans.^^ :3
A really fun and addictive little game. It's short, but you spend the whole time running around, smashing zombies and having fun. Simple gameplay, fast action and no unnecessary ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Definitely worth playing if you want something quick and entertaining

Dead Island Retro Revenge has almost nothing in common with the Dead Island series except the name and some art. With that said, I would recommend the game on offer if you pay $0.99, the gameplay is not bad just repetitive. The bulk of this game is a basic three lane auto run with a power-up system, zombie sprites, avoiding obstacles and hit combos. if this is your style of game - this fits the bill
