Dead as Disco

Great game still play it all the time due to being able to put custom songs in the game which is very cool to do and i also love the style as it is very unique so not really any negatives to say except just add more levels and bosses.

Not only can I not stop playing this game, I don't want to. The rhythm feels amazing and, in my opinion, is a good entry and ALTERNATIVE to the more classic rhythm games that are akin to the modernized version of "Dance Dance Revolution". It also scratches that "fighting game" itch with a satisfying parry system and plenty of powers that you unlock by beating the bosses. And if you're someone who is more story oriented and find yourself flexible when it comes to gameplay, this game has the start of a very promising, potentially bitter sweet story. I'm very glad the devs decided to give Charlie Disco a voice instead of their original plan of making him a silent protagonist. I can't imagine anyone else voicing him than the person they currently have (Hunter McCoy). The voices for Arora, Hemlock, Prophet, Dex, and Vice, are also fantastic! Upon first entering their levels, you get an IMMEDIATE idea of what type of person they are and through dialogue later down the line, you learn of who they were as well. While they're only voiced within their respective levels, the devs plan on adding voice acting for all of their dialogue interactions which will only add to the already phenomenal writing and blossoming character developments. The story has potential and so does the gameplay. I hope they stick true to their vision and create/tell a story that THEY want us to know about Charlie and his former band. That being said, if you read this and go in expecting the game to have a whole lot of story content, your expectations won't be met. Give the devs time to cook and I have no doubts we'll have an amazing game in our hands.
