About
Daymare Town is a hand-drawn puzzle adventure game. You find yourself in a heart of a strange city populated by peculiar Metamorph creatures. This town is full of nooks and crannies, puzzles, secrets and items to collect to help you along the way. Can you escape the nightmare of a day?

You are not alone here. You will meet peculiar daymare inhabitants. Some of them will help you, some need your help. Almost everyone has a story. You can choose to learn those stories if you just listen or look carefully at the environmental storytelling.

You will have to dive deep into the nooks and crannies of this town in order to solve all its mysteries and puzzles, of which are plenty. The better part of them will have you fighting the entropy of a town, bringing back signal to noise. There are also creatures here that need your help, look at them closely to learn who they are and what they need from you. You will have an inventory of items to use while solving puzzles.

Entire game is hand-drawn. There's nothing auto-generated nor procedural. There's no AI used in any capacity. Each location was thoughtfully designed. Its stylized and sketchy character emphasizes the eerie atmosphere of an unshaped nightmare you found yourself in.

Piano music for this game was created by contemporary composer Alex Voytenko. His style of music perfectly emphasizes the atmosphere of unspoken madness permeating this town.

Nice game
This is a unique game. Never seen a game with the least amount of direction. Unusual and cool.
Amazing point and click puzzle game. If you liked Submachine this is the same type of thing but better imo.
A simply excellent remaster of a classic in the point-and-click genre. As a kid, the atmosphere always made me expect a jumpscare that would never come. Happy to report that it still gives off that wonderfully spooky vibe, and I love that the side games were seamlessly integrated into the main chapters.
Лучшее от польского хкдожника Матеуса Скутника
Another tremendous game from Mateusz Skutnik! Play Submachine too!!
I like this game a lot. The puzzle elements obviously, but also the worldbuilding, and the progression of the story as you solve.
I haven't had much time for games lately, but when I heard that Mateusz Skutnik was releasing Daymare Town on Steam, I had to make an exception. I have incredibly fond memories of this series, and I must admit, I wasn't disappointed with this new release. Daymare Town is a classic point-and-click game with stunning, hand-drawn visuals. The game offers a unique world full of quirky characters somewhat reminiscent of Tove Jansson's novels, and a unique atmosphere that's hard to truly compare to any other game. The town the protagonist explores, in particular, was deeply memorable to me years ago, and I consider it one of the most interesting settings in point-and-click adventures. This version includes not only the four main installments in the series but also side games, cleverly integrated into the game world. Some elements have been changed from the original, but the fun remains. I definitely recommend it. It was my favorite game in 2025.
