About
Daymare Town is a hand-drawn puzzle adventure game. You find yourself in a heart of a strange city populated by peculiar Metamorph creatures. This town is full of nooks and crannies, puzzles, secrets and items to collect to help you along the way. Can you escape the nightmare of a day?

You are not alone here. You will meet peculiar daymare inhabitants. Some of them will help you, some need your help. Almost everyone has a story. You can choose to learn those stories if you just listen or look carefully at the environmental storytelling.

You will have to dive deep into the nooks and crannies of this town in order to solve all its mysteries and puzzles, of which are plenty. The better part of them will have you fighting the entropy of a town, bringing back signal to noise. There are also creatures here that need your help, look at them closely to learn who they are and what they need from you. You will have an inventory of items to use while solving puzzles.

Entire game is hand-drawn. There's nothing auto-generated nor procedural. There's no AI used in any capacity. Each location was thoughtfully designed. Its stylized and sketchy character emphasizes the eerie atmosphere of an unshaped nightmare you found yourself in.

Piano music for this game was created by contemporary composer Alex Voytenko. His style of music perfectly emphasizes the atmosphere of unspoken madness permeating this town.

Highly recommend to all point-and-click enjoyers. Loved the gloomy midday terror atmosphere of old flash games and this remake hasn't lost a bit of it. Fully connected world of all four chapters + unexpected appearance of other daymarestyle minigames. For veteran players there are a lot of new details in already familiar places and completely new locations and secrets to discover. Don't know why it stuck with me, but
pareidolia achivement
is such a simple idea and it's perfect for this game mood and artstyle.
But, damn... I kinda miss the old jumpscares
Hope to see more stories from the daymare universe <3

This is a unique game. Never seen a game with the least amount of direction. Unusual and cool.
I haven't had much time for games lately, but when I heard that Mateusz Skutnik was releasing Daymare Town on Steam, I had to make an exception. I have incredibly fond memories of this series, and I must admit, I wasn't disappointed with this new release. Daymare Town is a classic point-and-click game with stunning, hand-drawn visuals. The game offers a unique world full of quirky characters somewhat reminiscent of Tove Jansson's novels, and a unique atmosphere that's hard to truly compare to any other game. The town the protagonist explores, in particular, was deeply memorable to me years ago, and I consider it one of the most interesting settings in point-and-click adventures. This version includes not only the four main installments in the series but also side games, cleverly integrated into the game world. Some elements have been changed from the original, but the fun remains. I definitely recommend it. It was my favorite game in 2025.
Excelent game, beatiful remake.
A fun hand drawn game with lots of secrets and details to discover, this game is an absolute classic from the early flash games era of the internet with a modernization that really lets the beautiful ink artwork of Matuesz flourish on screen. I played on the OLED steam deck so the nighttime setting looked especially cool. The game controls well on the Deck and I found myself often clicking on everything and trying every item combination to see what secrets this game hid in its bleak yet strangely nostalgic atmosphere.
