The game is very fun and is a fantastic introduction to SQL way of thinking. It also does a very fine job of scratching the detective itch in a humorous way.

Enjoyed the humor peppered all throughout the game. Found this format of using SQLite to solve cases fun and engaging. Would recommend to all! Suggestions: Add more SQLite in the learning chapters such as other join times, nesting, and other functions. Maybe add more to optional learning in the chapters. Add more data into the table to make it more difficult to brute force answers and create more of a balance of the ratio of research vs using queries.

Great! My SQL skills aren't that great, wanted to learn some basics again. I like that it really doesn't guide you too much and not taking you by hand too much. You get and learn the tools and then are free to use them. The puzzles are pretty smart, you not only think about smart queries but also have to consider like social information that you find and make your own conclusions. You actually do feel kinda smart arresting the right person. I mean until you feel bad for working for some crazy dictator arresting the target for ridiculous crimes. Sorry, I meant some real hard criminal ♥♥♥♥. Humor is also on point. Really well done.

This is the first time I'm leaving a steam review but I enjoyed it so much I need to recommend it even though I haven't finished yet haha I think started the demo at around 7:30pm and then went to bed at 5am because the game is so fun. I really appreciate how there's not just one way to come up with the correct answer and how the complexity slowly ramps up with each case. The overarching plot and world building is really interesting!! With amount of care put into all the art and the little funny details I'm continuously noticing something new and giggling.

Easily one of the best edutainment games I've ever played. The database puzzles alone were enough to immediately hook me, and the hilarious writing and absurd worldbuilding only add to the experience. Really hits its stride once you unlock the web browser and you start having to do some actual digging to find the databases and clues you need. Really hoping this gets some DLC or a sequel at some point, because I was absolutely loving the expansive multi-step late-game cases and would love to sink my teeth into more puzzles like those.

Did I know SQL before I played this? No. Do I understand SQL after finishing the game? Not really. Did I enjoy it? Yes. Cute art style, funny humor, a good challenge.
