Darker Skies: Remastered for PC

the final verdict, so i did watch a lore video on the first game because the reviews were not good for it, so i didn't want to take the chances if im being honest. i saw this game before i even knew about that one and i was hesitant to buy it because it was kinda one of those games were it doesn't look so bad but there's not a lot going on in the trailer or people talking about it...however i can say i did enjoy this game. it was scary, immersive with ultra audio design and the graphics are actually really solid. the areas are put together tightly crafted and well. the gameplay is eh, clunky gunplay but it's not a huge thing within the game. the areas were nice to explore and i would argue the low budget AI is actually scary as hell when they jump out and start charging at you LOL. either way for $12 it isn't too bad honestly. survival horror fans should check that one out if they are in search for one and/or burnt out from mainstream titles.

Movement speed is another issue, with walking being too slow and running excessively fast, creating a jarring contrast. Voice acting, while not exceptional, falls within an acceptable range. However, the overall performance of the game is a significant drawback. Stuttering, low FPS, and poor optimization mar the experience, even on high-end hardware, such as the 7900 XTX. Mechanically, Darker Skies Remastered is overly simplistic. With limited gameplay elements and a lack of depth, it feels more like a proof of concept or prototype rather than a fully-fledged game. The story is another sore point, as it lacks coherence and fails to provide answers to essential questions about the protagonist and the world they inhabit. The audio design is subpar, with some sounds being too loud or mismatched. A peculiar addition of a tablet to the backpack, while initially intriguing, lacks any meaningful impact on gameplay, raising questions about its purpose. There are moments that shine, such as a cool battle against a smaller mech and the introduction of mutants or aliens in one section, though the latter feels like a missed opportunity. However, these glimpses of potential are overshadowed by the game's overall shortcomings. Darker Skies Remastered markets itself as a "Survival Horror" game, but it falls short of delivering on both fronts. The survival mechanics are minimal, and the horror aspect is barely present, resulting in a game that feels more like a walking simulator with basic combat and crafting elements. Had it embraced its narrative strengths, it could have been a compelling exploration of the post-apocalyptic aftermath. Unfortunately, it falls short of its ambitions. Overall Rating: 4/10

El The Last of Us de TEMU. Es jugable de principio a fin sin errores... hay muchos juegos que no pueden decir eso.. En 2 hs lo completas, y me lo regalaron por tener la primera parte...

The graphics are good and so is the story line.

"Grey skies" było durne i dość marne, ale przynajmniej miało historię i złudzenie posiadania bohaterki. tutaj widać, że im się nawet nie chciało udawać - gra zaczyna się jednozdaniowym (sic!) wprowadzeniem, a potem od razu leci gameplay. który jest całkowitym kopiuj-wklej jedynki, z tą różnicą, że tę część jeszcze bardziej da się przejść bez korzystania z przygotowanych mechanik - najskuteczniej po prostu przebiec obok zagrożeń, może ze dwa razy faktycznie musiałem się konfrontować. projekty przestrzeni są ładne, ale nie udaje im się zbudować wrażenia otwartego świata. to skrajnie liniowa, posklejana na ślinę gra wyglądająca jak odrzut z poprzednika. nie polecam absolutnie nikomu.
