Dark Parables: Portrait of the Stained Princess Collector's Edition

This is a good game. Good story line. Long game and you are able to jump to map locations.

I just like all games like this one.

Dark Parables #16. (Please note, DP #13 is not available on Steam.) A series of fragmented object games with puzzles and stories that each stand alone, but are also interconnected in the form of recurring characters. But each game tells its own story and they can technically be played in any order. There is fast travel. There are achievements within the game but they don't show up in Steam. There are also collectibles that unlock lore. I originally rated this a thumb's down because of the story. It's about unrequited love and parts of it were a little icky to me. But upon a second play-through it's really not as bad as I remembered. And the art is just gorgeous, so I think it's worth playing. It is entirely stand-alone, however -- no connections to any previous games, which is too bad, because this was the last game in the series.

This is a beautiful hidden objects game with an enthralling storyline that gave me about 5h of facinated playing. The animation may look a tad bit sloppy, but the captivating art style more than makes up for it. The story is worked out so well that the characters even have some depth.

Oh Dark Parables, it was a sad day when you died. Maybe someday we will meet again. Maybe.
