Dark Parables: Portrait of the Stained Princess Collector's Edition

This is the final game of the series, unless blue tea ever comes back or another company gets the rights to produce this series. This game is okay. The character animations get really wonky at times, and the puzzles are okay. The best part of the game is the story. I really enjoyed the dark and romantic story of the princess and the dark prince. I have a thing for dark tragic romances. As for the series, I truly love this series and it's sad to be on the last game. I hope one day the series comes back. But I won't hold my breathe.

Ich liebe diese Spielereihe. Ich habe bis jetzt alle Teile gespielt, die alten waren besser als die neueren, aber die Ideen für die Storys sind immer wieder beeindruckend und auch die Liebe für die Details im Design.

So, this is one of those games where I wish there was a neutral rating option. First off, I really love this series, but this episode does not live up to the other games. There is a whole lot of backtracking and the story is disappointing at best. Still, the game is playable and good in the grand scheme of this genre, but not compared to the rest of this series.

This is a fun and relaxing game. It won't freeze your mouse and it goes smoothly. The story was nice but a bit confusing at times as I wasn't sure who was bad and who wasn't. Still a great story and gameplay.
