They game looks good, the story is nothing special, but the issue is all the bugs and unclear steps or required to finish the game. I am near the end and if I understand correctly, I cant finish because the game wont let me click on a button. I tried many different things and came to this conclusion. Overall, the game wasn't bad, nothing special, but not bad. If it wasn't dead in the water, it would be worth $5 or $7, but due to the bugs and the fact that it has no support from the devs, I wouldn't recommend it.
If you buy this game buy it on sale I love the atmosphere but the game-play mechanics are not well done. Especially combat it's very clumsy and the weapons are under-powered
This game is a battle with bugs, as in both the enemies and the many issues it has. Despite the abundance of issues and annoyances I really enjoyed this game. I just wish they’d polish and patch it. The ending felt abrupt and sudden, like there should be a sequel, and I hope there is. I get the feeling there was supposed to be more to the game, but they had to cut it short. You get the grenade launcher too late in the game, I really didn’t get to use it. Also, there’s a missing weapon upgrade slot, unless it was hidden in some level. The atmosphere of the game was awesome. It’s my favorite kind of place: sprawling, dark, isolated, and lonely. It reminded me of my all time favorite game System Shock 2, but it’s a side-scroller and the AI isn’t psychotic. The ambient music really complemented the ship nicely. TIPS: - As the name suggest light plays a big role in the game, as in many enemies react to it or it’s absence. It’s best to not use the flashlight and just wander in the dark listening for enemies. - It’s playable with a controller, but you’ll need a mouse handy to reach some buttons and items. Also, aiming is easier with a mouse, and 95% of the enemies are short, so you’ll need to aim to hit them. Now for the airing of grievances: - The auto saves messed up, so I had to replay a couple maps (manually save once it awhile). - Some of the sounds would randomly drop out, like no foot steps after awhile. - In the Engineering map none of the save pads were working (might work with mouse?). - Some buttons are tough to activate with the controller, especially the elevator buttons! - Some objectives don’t clear out when accomplished. So, you’re not guided to the next. - I didn't get the credit for collecting all the logs.
Apparently I bought this game back in 2013 and then never played it???? LOL It's been kinda fun so far. Nice atmosphere and I already know about it's apparent "abrupt ending" from the forums/reviews so I'm not expecting much. Not sure if I'll even complete it. If you want a relatively decent somewhat "horror" and sci-fi themed side scrolling game. This might be something that could entertain you for a while like it did me.
Херня не вартує коштів!
So disappointed, game was over before it really started and i felt empty for it. If it's free go a head and enjoy, its fun and has a good story if not short, but don't waste money on this!
Sadly I have to agree with everyone when they say that the game is unfinished. I've been unable to get too far into the game as a whole as it feels like it's still in it's alpha stage and not ready to be released yet. It does have an interesting premise and I would have loved to have seen it brought to full fruition, but sadly, this ain't it.
If you buy this game buy it on sale I love the atmosphere but the game-play mechanics are not well done. Especially combat it's very clumsy and the weapons are under-powered
