Dark Bestiary

Fun turn based strategy monster slayer. All about that grind though, I will probably never get to max level. I thought it was a little light on story content, until I found out the development team consisted of like four people. Really impressive.

Ожидал пошагового диаблоида с бездумной зарубой монстров, бесконечным лутом и созданием имбы. И в принципе в игре все это есть, просто в моих ожиданиях это было х10 по количеству и качеству((( Мало лута, все механики открыты со старта, прокачка и лут убогий, сюжета/квестов ноль, тактического челленджа нет. Поиграл час - увидел всю игру. Единственное что выделяет проект, это отсутствие явных конкурентов. Все похожие игры будут либо карточными, либо рогаликами, либо сложными где надо разбираться с механиками (типа игр по pathfinder и dnd) Свою цену полагаю стоит, но рекомендовать не могу даже бесплатно, так как игра заброшена, и длс, апдейтов, модов не предвидится

What it does, it does well, which is a turn-based little 'dungeon crawler' with loot and stuff. I'm at the 4h point and nothing has challenged me, each combat is just a [b]tedious[/b] click-click-click fest. I am OK with combat or loot/gear choices that have reduced simplicity, however the game needs to let you move along [i]quickly[/i] and this game doesn't. So much of the overhead is just navigating the interface screens and clicking around. There's no QoL and I'm just going to spitball here, but after playing 4 boring hours: double-click skill auto-attacks last target, tickbox to automatically End Round when out of AP, shortcut key to issue movement to character instead of having to click them, auto-sort inventory button... that's just off the top of my head and pulled out of my rear on the fly in a review. The dev could have put some thought into this. At the time of writing I'm like 4h of playtime, but in my head if I take out all the time wasted with the UI I feel I've played maybe 40 minutes of actual game. I enjoy the stats, skills, abilities, loot, all of it. Its just so DARN SLOW. So I have to say no, don't buy this. I might throw a few more hours in because I paid money and I want to see if something actually happens, but don't let the playtime fool you. There is no reason to have a UI from 1990's in 2020's and it drives me insane to play.

Seems boring at first, but becomes real fun after 3-4 first hours of the game. Midgame is worth the build-up. I especially love the multiple possibilities to develop Your hero and getting rewarded for smart planning. Solid 7/10.

Хорошая игра. Видно, что немного недоделана по интерфейсу. Но в целом меня увлекла. Плюсы : - много классов - много оружия/брони/зелий и тд. - достаточно много возможностей : ковка, камни, сферы, заклинания и тд. - достаточно много режимов : кампания, башня, кошмар, сновидения и тд. Минусы : - интерфейс - лично для меня - в общем бедный (лично для меня) художественный стиль -
