Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Same day: best RU #84, worst CN #96 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.43/day in the week to Sep 9 → 8.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

It takes unbelievable effort to write a character as annoying and unbearable as Kokichi, also kind of ending that leaves you staring at the screen for a solid hour.

Favorite game in the series. I don't know how these games just keep getting better after each release (Not counting Ultra Despair Girls), its impressive. While Danganronpa 2 had a great cast some of the characters felt less interesting than the main standouts, but in V3 everyone is really compelling and none of the characters will make you bored. Class trials got a bigger upgrade with plenty of more mechanics and minigames that range from fun but too short to this is the worse minigame in the series. Hangman's Gambit somehow gets worse after each game, impressive. I really like the perjury feature added to the trials but I wish it was implemented a bit better because some of them are damn near impossible to figure out with a guide. Maybe in 2x2 we'll see a return of it. The music in V3 is very good and has a very different sound compared to the rest of the series that I don't know how to describe. I can't decide whether to call it my favorite or not but its tied to Danganronpa THH's Soundtrack. Side content got a huge upgrade. School/Island mode was stripped down to just improving your friendships with the cast, which is for the better, did not miss scavenging for materials. The casino is a new location where you can play minigames and buy presents, but shock to no one all the minigames are bad and will piss you off if you try to S rank them. Ultimate Talent Plan and Monokuma's test are so big that its like the second half of V3. Wasn't a huge fan of the boardgame style. It takes forever and rolling for spaces is annoying. I think UTP could've been implemented a little better and made less tedious by not having you restart your character back at level 1 relearn all skills and stats every single time. Monokuma's test I hated at the start but liked at the end. Its a pretty simple RPG dungeon crawler that can easily kick your ass. Progressing the dungeon isn't too hard but this game loves to throw bosses and enemies that brick walls and will stall your progress unless you have the right rarity of characters. It can easily consume a lot of time trying to build the right team just to progress one boss and then change your team dynamic for another. I'd say the weapons and gear you get are more important than the characters them selves, because you could be level 99 with maxxed out skills and still lose, but if you farm for specific gear you have a better chance at winning. I like Monokuma's test but it could be improved. There's one huge I have about the PC port of this game. I swear every like 20 minutes the game will randomly drop to 25 fps even if you have a good graphics card for whatever reason, AND randomly the game will not register your inputs for like 20 seconds and its very annoying during class trials. I recommend using the "dr3fix" on github, I personally didn't see that much of an improvement but it might help someone. Overall, Danganronpa V3 is a great sequel that is worth playing despite the controversial reputation it has. Don't let one specific moment ruin the whole series for yourself.
