Like 99/100 horde games are on the human and defensive/wall up side of things. Its a LOT of fun to sometimes play as the horde/swarm instead and take out the defenders with overwhelming numbers. Finally these overrated humans get what they deserve
Прошёл кампанию до конца несмотря на плохой интерфейс, баги с ultrawide-разрешением и сомнительный баланс. Весьма залипательная, не слишком длинная. Есть испытания и кастомные карты, но вот это уже не хочу.
Fun RTS auto battler. It's pretty simple even on max difficulty, but nonetheless it's quite addictive. All achievements can be done in 10 hours.

I love that indie game devs make better games than AAA
the tutorial is frustrating and broken but once you are past that the game is mostly fine. the menus feel amateurish and bad but luckily the game isn't too dependent on them or the settings they lack. when anything new happens, new unit attacks or makes a sound, the entire game hangs for a few seconds for whatever reason and then from then on whatever caused the initial hang up no longer presents any issue. from an outside perspective I was a little dissappointed with the initial buggos experience but I can tell with the various difficulty settings, amount of levels and workshop support that for a dollar this is a pretty easy decision to invest in and keep playing buggos. I like leaning into certain strategies and seeing how far they get me on a mission to mission basis. doesn't feel like theres 1 dominant strategy that completely trumps all others although I am sure there is I just don't want to read any sort of guide or really any information about the game as im sure that will rob me of like 80% of the enjoyment I seek from it which is just wading through various bad decisions until I get it right. I'm not one to bother a developer with ridiculous requests but early on in buggos development it should have been evident that this game should probably receive at least 4 player multiplayer support. a blind pick battle / a mode where you ban various abilities and units and a more traditional real time tech tree approach would have all been novel additions. this is a pretty good game for RTS casuals that just want to load up a strategy and fire it into a wall rather than babysit every millisecond decision nonstop over and over and over spamming the numbers on their keyboard and clicking for no reason
Played on Linux (CachyOS, Ran Native, No issues) A great little RTS game based around spawning swarms of buggos and assaulting various kinds of human settlements / bases. Campaign is a solid length, with highly amusing Voices on the few cutscenes it has. The campaign thankfully allows you to adjust your evolutions however you like between maps. What this means is if any specific level is giving you problems, you can restart and adjust your swarm to suit the level, somewhat puzzle-esque as some levels i found to be very challenging until i found the right unit or building for the job. I dipped quickly into the Survival and challenge modes, Survival being highly defensive based across 3 maps of escalating difficulty as you defend from endless waves of humans (That seem to speed up over time i believe?), and challenge is set maps which give you a pre-set amount of evolution points to tackle the challenge which features human units or buildings that don't appear in the main campaign. Unit and building variety was solid with everything filling a unique role outside of the warrior which seemed like a slightly bigger, more expensive swarmer. My only problem with this was not being able to send multiple types of buggos at one button, although there is a button to send all types of buggos which occasionally fixed the issue.
Got it for a buck Worth way more than a buck Repetitive, but stupid fun
저그의 압도적 물량으로 테란 밀어버리는것은 로망...
I got it on sale for super cheap, and with that in mind, it was great. Full price? I'd have been disappointed. The campaign on standard difficulty is doable in one sitting. (5.6 hours played, and ~1.5 hour of that was time tending to cranky baby who should have been sleeping). it was enjoyable. There are several valid playstyles on standard difficulty, no cheese or meta required. The level design and enemy types are varied enough to keep you going; I only got kinda bored on the very last page of maps. Splitting it up over two nights would probably avoid that. But if you _do_ wanna do some stinky meta cheese, the thing I found was going 100% builders and pustules, nothing else, along with the ability that lets you turn on/off bug type spawns, until you max out everything you can with Builders. They suck at combat but they are good enough (perhaps with mixing in just a few swarmers at the very start). Then, you max out Spiners. After that, Builders+Spinrs and nothing else will carry you through 2/3rds of the game and just rip ♥♥♥♥ up. Max out the goo bonuses and build spawners along your way as you wipe the map, remembering to disable your spawners in the back lines as you go. You can clear 2/3rds of the maps in 1.5-3 minutes. After Builders/Spiners, just upgrade the general swarm buffs in the central column, with special attention to the one that lets a bug seldomly survive fatal damage with 1 HP remaining--this is essential for bursting through lines. Every map, start by disabling everything but builders, dump a 6x6 or 8x8 square of pustules around your first spawner. After those are up turn on Spiners and get to work. It's important you don't unlock any other types of bug so that the Builder/Spiner cost stays low. Only in the last 1/3rd of the game do you need to grab some Wasps or Titans or something (I preferred Wasps for their mobility).
