Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Sep 3 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's not Daemon X Machina. I never played Anthem. But I have played Armored Core. It's Anthem Armored Core, slightly watered down. I love the game and think the gameplay is unique enough this game should be played, so people know what's possible in gaming. You get an ironman suit, you swap out all the parts to different parts that work better depending on what you want to do. Light mechs, heavy mechs, clown suit builds, the works. Fine tuning with small bits and bobs and slots for extra little things. Some randomized stats and effects too to really mix and match. The weapons too. For example, I have an extremely fast moving/running light weight mech, with a huge cannon. But I can't use the most high-powered cannon, but I can use a variant of it that weighs less, and does less damage; but it still does more damage than any other cannon class. You can change your mech colors, stickers, made your own stickers and decals, it's awesome. But you can't color your guns for whatever reason. Story is laughably average to bad, though. Vehicles are absolutely useless and handle like ass, especially if you have a light mech. Don't even get me started on riding the mutant horse. The open world; I like it, but, it is an apocalypse world and mostly devoid of interesting things. But then again, real life can be really boring too. If you go hike a mile in a desert wasteland full of giant flesh horror growths, you're either going to be bored, or think it's a cool vibe. I liked it enough. Sadly, the game won't be getting any more cool content, and they won't be adjusting other little things that would have been amazing. I thought it was worth full price for its uniqueness in gameplay. It's definitely worth trying on sale too. I am sad to see this game have so little support.

Game is great, it is open world PS2 Armored Core.
Somehow they managed to release a pretty alright game and then make it worse after release with the most ineptly designed boss fights ever put into a video game. Seriously, they have WOW raid boss levels of health and you do WOW healer levels of damage so they take forever and the mechanics aren't sophisticated enough to support a fight that long. Normally I end up running out of ammo halfway through, then run around searching corpses with my fingers crossed I get an ammo drop to keep tickling the boss to death. If you want an alright mech game play through the main missions then stop once you clear the story. It only gets worse the longer you go. Certainly don't get the DLC.
Not very enjoyable unfortunately, it seems like the movement is completely out of whack now. There's no ability to descend - only ascend while flying around the open world. The movement ruined the combat and the experience for me immensely as it feels extremely floaty and hard to control. If you can get beyond the movement, there could be a fun game here but it would be best on sale or something.

all currencies in usd it's a blast, but this is not a $70 game. i purchased it at 30% off ($49) which i thought was a lot more agreeable. the customization options are solid, the guns feel good, the story is campy and tries to take itself very seriously but, much like the first game, it takes a very long time to meander to something resembling a point and has some of the funniest voice acting (English, unsure about JP) i've heard in any game i've played in the past 5 years. a lot of the weapons are really reasonably good, but most of them have expiration dates on how long you can use them for before you're made to switch off of them (for something that handles almost exactly the same); which i think is a good thing, as it encourages you to try new things rather than saying "this is my pet weapon and i will use it forever". you can use your pet weapon forever, it just will not remain as effective. this game is not daemon x machina 1. this is a powered armor game, and not a mecha game. your powered armor handles like a mech, and not like powered armor. i do not know why they decided this was the move to make but they sure did make it. but i do have some gripes that i think might turn some people off: -the camera is your archnemesis and will cause you to take more damage than you think you should be. there is nothing you can do about this. -all of the vehicles feel like the center of gravity is above the actual vehicle, and small bumps, clipping objects, etc. will send you to Liuzhou, China -your turning radius is limited extremely dramatically when using boosts of any description, and you will have to stop or use emergency dashes to make turns sharper than 30 degrees. occasionally if you do try to make that turn anyway, you will do a comically slow 180 degree pivot animation, and run back the way you came. -all of the gear drops have RNG stats and there's nothing you can do to mitigate this. for me this is fun, for some people this will make you want to explode. overall, this game really feels a lot more "complete" than DxM1, it's got some quirks that make me want to throw a tantrum in a wal-mart toy aisle, but it's got all the same hallmarks that made DxM1 fun for me personally, and i can happily recommend it.
really like it so far. didnt like the tutorial part. found it cringy and boring but right after that its been fun. locked 144 max settings.
This game is overhated, i dont mind the open world, its fun. I enjoy this game
