I played this for a while before getting bored out of it. So here's my review: 1) I also read the review where someone's mentioned having a sense of urgency. I would disagree with that. Adding in an urgency like "time limit" is part of gameplay. There are many games (like Diablo) that have been successful without adding in the time limit. Why? It's definitely not a time limit. Personally, I hate games that impose a time limit because the whole reason I play games is to escape life. And life puts all kinds of time limits + pressure on activities. I certainly wouldn't want that. 2) Instead, I would really like to have a variety in the enemies. Like some enemies that shoot you. Some that hide and suddenly come out to kill you. Some pick up the fallen gun from another enemy (if that's possible) or a some that rush at you and some that walk slowly towards you. Perhaps some that gang up into a group and shoot at you. 3) The shield guy indeed felt useless. His left-click should do something (and to a larger area perhaps) since he's defenseless or maybe creates a shield to a remote area with the left click. Currently he cannot fight but can only create shields. 4) The co-operation between the players (AI) can be more fun. When I take control of the shield guy and create a shield then the other players should try to come inside the shield instead of remaining spread out. Otherwise I'll never play with the shield guy. Similarily, if I take the shooter then the berserker should try to keep attacking (or perhaps he attacks only when we're close to a group, which is fine then). If I'm moving a crate in a direction then the other characters should move out of the way rather than standing their and getting pushed out. 5) Environment: This too can be improved a lot. We mostly had 4 walls / islands / walls in between the rooms. We could have just decoration items like spray art, or one room that is mostly dark, or one room that is too bright, or which has a "treasure" theme (golden light + we win some loot at the end), boss room that looks very different (perhaps blood /red splashes on the floor where the boss resides) or a different theme on the boss rooms. Experiment with the game engine. See how little light it allows that still makes everything visible. Use that. Perhaps one level where there are no enemies but an invisible one (or an almost invisible one) that attacks you. 6) Enemies: I could do with more bosses in-between. Or a few selected enemies that are much stronger than the rest of them (perhaps a melee one sometimes or a shield one at other times). 7) Lastly: Loot! I would love to have loot. Coins. Guns. Clothes. Armor. Anything. And hopefully a variety (auto-generation) so that there's some kind of novelty in it. Good luck with the game!

EDIT 3 DEC 2020: There was a game update yesterday and it seems like the developer is listening to input from his audience, which is awesome because this game does not need much in the way of mechanics and balance. The enemies are harder, the variety of enemies is greater, you can tell your characters to hold still, and here is a video of gameplay! https://youtu.be/rZuubAo2dPI ORIGINAL: In my book, Cyberforge: First Light is a top notch example of what early access should look like. It's very well polished and, depending on what other levels are added, very close to being 100% complete. The mechanics are smooth, although there needs to be some balancing, and gameplay is fluid with just a couple of bugs (that I found). In this prologue, the player can only select the "Endless" game mode, which is about 5 levels in a loop. You can regenerate health at the main base, which is basically an indoor campsite, and you can collect XP tokens but they don't seem to do anything. This prologue is basically a preview of functionality and general controls/gameplay. https://youtu.be/MWJMTxODCU4 https://youtu.be/qc38zh78IhY Some suggestions: - There needs to be some balancing of the power of the player controlled characters (combat is too easy) - Make randomly generated levels - The workshop was not working in the prologue (as in, I could not edit stats or gear) - Some ability to pan the camera would be nice - Two different platforms bugged out and would not work when they were supposed to, one of them was a game breaker and I had to reset Some cool things: - I like how the AI controlled characters will dodge shots from enemies - I like the artwork, especially the detailed artwork of the player characters in the workshop - Overall gameplay is smooth and as expected
The idea is good, but the processing is very simple yet. It has potential for the future and keep my fingers crossed for further development.

Cyberforge: First Light, yukarıdan aşağıya siberpunk maceramız Cyberforge için geliştiricilerin oluşturduğu ÜCRETSİZ bir oyundur! Bu sonsuz mod mücadelesinde hayatta kalmaya çalışırken, her biri benzersiz becerilere ve silahlara sahip, siber açıdan geliştirilmiş cücelerden oluşan üçlüyü kontrol edin.
"Cyberforge: First Light" is is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "Cyberforge". Cyberforge is an aborted attempt to make a game nobody wanted, a lulzy bad twin stick shooter with some "cyberdwarf" theme (they've obviously played a bit of Deep Rock Galactic and decided they could get famous by exerting 1% of the talent and ripping off someone else's ideas). It was shaping up to be a pointless procgen hellhole, but then they gave up after nobody bothered with their abandoned Early Access advertisement. So, "Cyberforge" was never made, to the relief of gamers everywhere. But this isn't completely relevant because this is not Cyberforge, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "Cyberforge: First Light" too. Usually the purpose of these advertisements is to get you to shell out money to the developer to buy the full product, but the developer hasn't bothered actually making a product you can buy, leaving this as an advertisement for nothing. We must question what value this pointless advertising has for gamers... and the answer is "none". Due to the poor public response amongst gamers for this advertisement, it seems unlikely the developer will go on to make the full product. The developers abandoned this 4 years and 8 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. This game is fairly dated at 5 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. As an advertisement, this is only free in the same way that adverts on Youtube and banner ads in your browser are. This is a game demo that's been dumped on Steam to advertise another Steam store page in the hopes of raking in some cash. Just because advertisements are free, doesn't mean they're worth your time. It's important to understand there's a formal process to create a demo/page for a game which hasn't been followed here: https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/store/application/demos While it might seem like an inocuous mistake, publishing demos and advertisements as if they are full games is misleading and in some ways harmful. This advertisement is taking up marketing space and visibility that would be better made available to a developer that's done the right thing and created a full game. Instead, that visibility is given over to a demo/advert that's been published incorrectly and is polluting the marketplace. It's unclear if this mistake was made through incompetence or a deliberate intent to mislead gamers. Often developers may choose to incorrectly publish demo/advertisements as separate games as a cheap way to bypass paying Valve for marketing presence on the Steam front page, which may seem clever to them, but it's harmful behaviour and it's not good for gamers. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 7 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Advertisements and incorrectly published demos don't add +1 to your game collector count, they aren't full games. It's impossible for me to recommend this incorrectly published advertising spam to gamers, you deserve better than adverts.
Super awesome and its in its early stages LOL cannot wait to see how this game evolves. The artwork is super sick, the sounds are cool and the music great. U can choose to control 1 of 3 different characters all working together with unique abilities... yes, that.
