Game was fantastic. Absolutely brought me back to playing Spiderman on the old play station 2. Except the grappling physics felt like my memories of that game. Amazing game with a short 100% time of only 10 hours for me which is really nice in a world of collect 300 trophies this did not feel bad at all or any achievements that actually took you out of the game. Would totally recommend.
gud
It's short but great fun! Picking it up while on sale is an excellent idea!!! Grapple mechanics are fun and make you feel fast and powerful, while the time-trial format feels rewarding It took a while to get a hang of, there is a surprising amount of depth to a simple moveset. Also I didn't realise until the end of the game that RMB ungrapples without jumping. The grappling mechanics are really good, the levels test you while allowing yyou to try find shortcuts. The grapple is occaisionally janky, but its good compared to most other grapples and the short levels means a restart is not catastrophic The mechanic where slowing time does not slow the timer is common, but works well here.
Great game Not great DLC

Whenever your into speedrunning and futuristic without getting alot of FPS drops this is the game set in an futuristic game and retro stylish I love this game for the variety of ways you can take to get to your goal.
Cyber Hook is a free-flowing, momentum based, grapple-platformer where you hurtle through levels at breakneck speeds and try to reach the goal within a 'par' time. If you do alright, you get a single 'diamond' as your rank. If you do impressively well, it's two diamonds. And if you're a take-no-prisoners speeddemon, that's three diamonds. It's a little bit like the secret bonus stages from Super Mario Sunshine, but in 80s neon and with the hookshot from, say, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. The epitome of 'easy to learn, difficult to master.' It feels accessible to anyone, and leaves a lot of room for player expression and creativity. You can improvise and try different ideas and variations... it rewards skill, but it's not an exacting game where you have to nail the 'correct' moves. I do think it was a developer mistake to not include a very limited ability to skip specific stages. Looks great, sounds great, incredible flow, allows more novice play but has an insanely high ceiling for expertise. What's not to love?
