Trying to kill a vampire? Don’t make a miss stake!

Storyline
Cute Bite is a game where you're a human helping a special vampire mistress. The story starts with a problem for the vampire lord, and you have to wake up a new vampire mistress to fix it. But, she wakes up as a child with no memories or powers. As you play, you decide what the Little Mistress does—whether she becomes a crime hunter, a famous vampire, or a threat to the world. Your choices also affect her journey to become an adult again. The game mixes mystery, strategy, and fantasy, telling a story of loyalty and survival. With over twenty different endings.
Gameplay
Cute Bite is a fun game that blends stat management, RPG elements, and strategic decision-making. Here's a simple breakdown of how the game works: Stat-Raising Management:

You need to plan the Little Mistress's schedule, picking 2-3 actions each week based on the season and night length.
Actions like learning, working, and resting affect over 20 stats crucial for progress.
Training and Skills:

The main focus is training the vampire mistress in different skills to overcome obstacles.
Improving skills unlocks new jobs and activities, shaping character development.
Hunting Mechanic:

A turn-based RPG mini-game lets you send the vampire mistress on hunts to feed. Successful battles restore health and stamina.
Story Events and Interactions:

The story unfolds through events triggered by dates, stats, or character interactions.
Talking with characters during tutoring sessions reveals their stories.
Unlockable Endings:

There are 20+ endings to discover by trying different stat combinations and choices.
Endings include character-specific "romantic" conclusions and general outcomes reflecting your actions.
Replayability:

Despite a short playtime (2-4 hours), Cute Bite has high replayability with various choices and outcomes to explore.
The Extra menu tracks progress and encourages further exploration.
Adorable Art Style and Soundtrack:

Cute chibi art style and a lovely soundtrack enhance the game's charm.

Graphics & Sound
The characters, especially the cute chibi versions of the Little Mistress and others, make the game really charming. Bright colors and well-made animations make the world look playful and interesting. Even though the idea of a small vampire mistress might seem unusual, the graphics keep a fun and lighthearted feeling, making it enjoyable. The music in Cute Bite is fantastic and adds a lot to the game. The game's sound effects, like in battles or story moments, are well-done.
Final Verdict
Cute Bite is a unique vampire simulation. Its cute art style and catchy music create a charming vibe. Although the gameplay is short, there's a lot to explore with many choices and over twenty different endings. The mix of managing stats and RPG elements makes the game interesting. Whether you're a Hanako Games fan or new to it, this game offers a distinct adventure in vampire lore. If you've ever wondered what it's like to handle a tiny vampire with a nibbling habit, try Cute Bite – it's the undead comedy you didn't know you wanted! I backed this game on Kickstarter as a fan of both the raising sim genre and Hanako Games' previous work. From the developer's track record and the two previous games in the series (Cute Knight and Cute Knight Kingdom) I expected a high standard of quality. However, in the end I found the gameplay quite dull and the game world doesn't feel "alive" in the same way as previous titles. Unfortunately, I only found myself wanting to play this during my lowest points of depression when I just wanted a game to kill time and achieve stuff without too much effort or attention needed. Although I found the game overall to be disappointing I did still enjoy the writing. If you're a fan of Hanako's writing style it might still be worth a purchase,
Not bad for time killing. If you're looking for similar games, however, I would recommend Volcano Princess w/ the similar budget...
Honestly this game is fine, the art is cute and the characters are endearing but its incredibly tedious, there isn't much in the was of personal choice aside from what classes/jobs you take and how you spend the night at the end of the week. There's very little in the way of story and its nigh impossible to determine how to romance any of the characters (i didn't even know romance was an option until after my play though when I looked over the achievements.) Honestly despite those issues I'd probably still give it a positive review if it were cheaper, it feels like a $5-$10 rather than a $15 one. TL;DR: its a cute little time waster but not worth the money
Different playthroughs feel the same as any previous or any future ones. Have to manually click in places that they could've added skip to (has skip only for dialogues). Finishing romance route feels more like random popup in the end of the playthrough than anything else. Sure, you have to attend class enough times to have teacher asking for maximum pay for it, then you have to blindly attend it some more, hoping that you've met all requirements and got all dialogues that you needed to. And dialogues themselves are almost about nothing at all. Long Live the Queen is simply superior to this one.
It's a much easier and less complex version of Long Live The Queen. Considering how badly I wanted any game to replicate that game though I am so happy to have this game. The little vampire is super cute too.
This is one of Hanako Game's weaker titles in my opinion. I don't think there is anything here that is outright bad, but it's a okay game that feels a bit underwhelming. If you want to play a stat-based raising sim, just play Cute Knight, the same creator made it and despite it's age, it has way, way more content, endings, gameplay, and replayability. As for pros, the art and overall atmosphere is quite cool. I do like the various other gameplay elements like thievery, going to balls, etc. Negatives, there's just not much going on here, you can experience the entire game and many endings in one sitting. You can replay it and choose different options, but it's not likely much of interest will happen so you are literally just grinding for a new CG and achievement. Don't go into this expecting to feel like your choices matter or a replay will be a vastly different experience. There are romancible characters you can get but I personally don't really get it. You can't see the romance develop and play out on your playthrough, not until right before the credits. Kind of robs you of the opportunity to develop any attachment to these romancible characters and their routes, rendering their inclusion kind of pointless. Overall, not a bad game, just an underwhelming one. I don't regret purchasing it, it has just enough content to keep it from feeling completely empty, but I would be lying if I said I would recommend it to anyone over dozens of other similar titles which are more fleshed out.
Cute and Lesbian... I'm satisfied. (Do note however, the game itself is a pretty boring life sim. The cutscenes are cute though.)
