Cursed Enigma - The Midnight Apartment

2.1 I didn't like this one as much as the first. The art style is still fine but this one doesn't really have any gameplay and it's story is kind of lacking itself, it feels like another indie game I have played. The prior game at least had the hiding sequence and more of a free roam 'feel' albeit still linear. This has nothing, just when I was nearing the end I was thinking that it would do a segment like the hiding from the first but it just ... ends. Just didn't really inspire anything out of me.

Übernimmt dabei aber leider auch ein paar Probleme mit. Die Scares sind wirklich Plump und basieren Hauptsächlich auf Ekel & jumpscares während man unsinnige Fetchquests erledigt und viele Hinweise der Bewohner einfach ins nichts führen. Das lässt das ganze leider etwas unnötig wirken, da jeder verrückte Nachbar kein wirklicher Teil der Geschichte ist, oder dazu beträgt. Viele der Fetchquests waren für mich nicht zu 100% nachvollziehbar und es war für mich einfacher in den Keller zu glitchen, als den Sicherungskasten regulär zu finden. Sound war so okay, Grafik war nichts neues, nur hat der Bloom effekt leider auch viel vom Horror weggenommen und dafür gesorgt, dass ich nichts von der Show gesehen habe. Es ist okay, nicht wirklich gut, aber auch nicht kompletter mist. Und dabei meine nicht den aktuellen Buggy State sondern meine Subjektive Meinung über die Geschichte die Erzählt wird und wie man sie erlebt. Rating: Dito: 2.8/5 Chat: 2.5/5 Gesamt: 2.65/5

a follow up to a better game. this one has glitches and a story, though one is bad and the other is passable. Just get on sale, and then play once and forget it ever existed. real talk though, its not bad, just not good either.
