Topline Review: I love this game and am currently obsessed with it. I bought this on a whim for the art and the idea of it. It reminded me of Solforge, an old PvP card game I used to play on Steam. (You might still be able to play it). It had the same five lanes and the same idea of building up buffs on creatures to make them more and more powerful over time. I liked playing Solforge against the computer just to play with the mechanics, so I decided to add this to the already bulging summer sale cart. This game takes the experience I had with Solforge and layers a roguelike deckbuilder into it, allowing you to progress through a series of battles and power up your cards--and most of the powerups are permanent, lasting until the end of the run, not just the battle. It's all about layering these buffs into combinations that play with your hero power (similar to Hearthstone) and Relics (like Slay the Spire). Getting a good synergy going and building a deck or a group of cards into a powerhouse is deeply satisfying. You could just power one creature into a god, if you wanted. With the right support, that could work. Figuring that out with the relics you happen upon and the cards you choose is some of the most fun I've had in the genre. This is the game I didn't know I wanted.

I really have enjoyed it so far my only real gripe is that the bosses feel somewhat underwhelming compared to the some of the Elite fights other than that it a 10/10 from me! Loved the art and the game play :).

Bought this on a whim, love it spent 10 hours on it when i bought it before i realized it. The art and music is really appealing as well. The cards are unique and enjoyable to build around. well worth it given the price point.
