About
Thrown into a world consumed by infection, a lone cube-shaped survivor awakens with no memory, no guidance, just instincts and the need to survive.
______________________________________________________________
A fast-paced, top-down endless 2D survival shooter where you fight through waves of relentless zombies in ever-expanding infected maps. Armed only with random weapons at the start, you must collect experience from fallen enemies to level up and unlock stronger, deadlier versions of your arsenal.
The longer you survive, the tougher the horde becomes. Every second is a challenge. Every kill is progress. Level up, choose from three random upgrades, and stack weapon evolutions to create devastating combos.
When death finally comes--and it will--your run ends, but your progress doesn’t. Use collected resources to purchase permanent buffs, unlock new maps, and uncover hidden Easter eggs scattered throughout the infected world.
All the while, something… watches. A mysterious figure lurks in the distance, silent, motionless, and always there. What is it? Why is it watching you? Will it encounter you? And why were you dropped into this world in the first place?
Prepare for chaos, mystery, and high replayability. How long can you survive… and how far can you go before the truth catches up to you?
Every level you can choose your new weapon or stack different weapons to make powerful combos!

Cube Slayer – A Promising Bullet Hell with Room to Grow Cube Slayer is a personal project that showcases a lot of potential, especially in its core gameplay. The standout feature is the impressive weapon variety, experimenting with different loadouts keeps the action fresh and engaging. It’s clear the developer has a strong grasp of what makes bullet hell games fun. That said, there’s room for improvement in the game’s presentation. The main menu and UI elements feel a bit underdeveloped compared to the gameplay itself. A more polished and intuitive interface would go a long way in making the overall experience feel more complete and inviting. Overall, Cube Slayer is a solid foundation for a bullet hell game, and with some refinement to its UI and presentation, it could really shine. Looking forward to seeing where it goes from here.
Will change my review to positive and rebuy game if the developer stops being lazy and fixes his game. Gamepad support is needed. Auto aim and auto attack option is necessary as well for this genre. The fact that no boxes break and you have no way to get health back is terrible. The enemies are overpowered and the hero square moves so slow. You die in one hit usually. Just a really bad...no time spent to make it how it should be....game. Dev has never spoken in the Steam forum or done an update. He has no discord from what I have seen. This game should be free for now because it is more like a demo or prototype. I have seen games that are made in 72 hours that are 300 times better than this. So, I will be fair to the developer and give him a chance to fix things. The other big issue is the terrible wonky start screen. The menu options have no mouse capabilities lol. There is this weird cube and it floats where it wants and when you hover over an option....it does this loading bar thing then takes you right to the option chosen. And sometimes that cube gets lost on the screen so you have no way to choose anything. So this needs to be fixed also. Make a clickable menu that is easy and familiar with players who like this type of game. The dev went so far outside the box. or did things that were not normal for this type of game. In fact they arent normal for any game lol. At a minimum, add auto aim and auto attack and allow the main menu accept a mouse click. For now...its a hard pass. Players should wait till all of the above is fixed before even thinking of buying this game. Check back every so often and if my review is changed to positive then that means things were fixed and it is playable. Refunded for now.
