The game takes place in Istanbul, Turkey, and specially designed for those players who love FMV video games with shooting elements. In this game, the player will explore different in-door and out-door environments to save his friend. The game features six different final scenes, and the player have limited time to choose from. Each scene has its ending and difficulties. [h1]Storyline – Rescue Your Buddy who is in danger[/h1] In this first-person shooter video game, the player can assume the role of the main character named Ozgur, whose ultimate objective is to save his friend from one of the leading mafias of Istanbul Dalyan. Daylan has stolen a cryptex, containing some sensitive information regarding something. The Mafia is struggling to find a way to unlock it but failed because it requires a password. The protagonist knows a way how to unlock it, and maybe it belongs to him. Bad guys abducted the protagonist’s friend, and start forcing him to find the required password to open it. Furthermore, the protagonist loves his friend and wants to save him at any cost. Therefore, he gets ready to find and open the cryptex. As mentioned above, up to six scenarios are there, and each one requires the completion of objectives to provide the information you are looking for. Once the Mafia assigned you a job, start navigating the environment from a first-person viewpoint, as you are only limited to watch the protagonist’s hand holding a pistol in it. Interaction with other players may reveal a lot of secrets regarding the Mafia and cryptex. [h1]Gameplay – Be a Good Friend[/h1] Before start, the player can freely choose one of six scenes of the game. The player will experience the result of these choices from the beginning to the end. In each scene, the player has limited time to make his decision. During the play, the game can also compete with well-programmed NPCs with powerful weapons, including Knife and Pistol. Like other POV shooting games, it also has stealth elements to reach his target and kill them silently. [h1]Conclusion[/h1] CRYPTEX is a rich, deep story that keeps on giving, even after the player has completed his first walkthrough. Each scene of the video game is packed with meaning, and working out where the player should go next is rewarding because each subplot is gripping. The graphics of the game is quite immersive that immerse the player into a deep world. Overall the game is perfect and recommended for FMV lovers, others?... not so much recommended. [h1]Overall[/h1] Was an okay game to play, but ir is nothing that I myself would play again. Rate: 5/10

[b]Cryptex, interaktif bir FMV yapım. Late Shift gibi büyük çapta ses getirmiş tarzda yapımların ülkemizde uygunlanmaya başlanması güzel bir his. Senaryo gayet iyi düzeyde diyebilirim. Sesler ve görsel efektlerde herhangi bir problem yok, gözüme tek takılan nokta oyunculuklar oldu, şahsen çok başarılı bir oyunculuk sergilendiğini düşünmüyorum. Cryptex, kamera ile çekilmiş videolar birleştirilerek hazırlanmış seçimlerimizin hikâyeyi etkilediği Türk yapımı bir oyun. Oyunda seçimler yaparak hikâyeyi istediğimiz gibi şekillendirebiliyoruz. Oyunda 6 tane farklı son bulunmakta. Oyun İstanbul da geçmekte. Kahramanımızı mafya arkadaşını öldürmekle tehdit ederek mafyanın elinde olan bir kripteksin şifresini bulması istenir. Şifre 5 tane rakama sahiptir ve her rakam başka bir mafyaların elindedir. Bizimde bu mafyaları tek tek bulup bu şifreleri bir şekilde bunlardan almamız gerekmekte. Şifreleri nasıl alacağımızı biz kendimiz seçiyoruz. Oyun düşük bütçeli olduğundan dolayı oyunculuk ve mekanlar biraz orta seviye olmuş. Oyunda ses sıkıntısı mevcut. Bazen diğer kişilerin seslerini duymakta güçlük çekebiliyoruz. Fakat oyun kötü değil. Benim hoşuma gitti. Fiyatıda gayet uygun. Oyunda Türkçe seslendirme mevcut.
