cute and nice castlevania inspired game the pixel art is very wonderfull and is nice it have a "casual" mode so dont worry if they game is too hardcore for new players to this kind of games
Had to refund. Game would restart as soon as I selected an option from the menu. Sometimes It would not even seen button presses at all.
Only for the most masochist and perseverant
I don't have anything against stiff controls in platformers, in fact it's my favorite type of platformers. I don't have anything against a bit of difficulty either, but some of the levels here are a bit too long. The game itself is not very long, it can be finished in a couple days, but it will require a lot of repetitions, specially on level 8. If you are not a platformer athlete, you will probably not enjoy the last levels. If you are, the game is, okay, and the simplicity is quite welcome. The graphics look cool in screenshots but you are forced to play in a small window or it looks awful.
It's a very standard Castlevania-style game, but I had a decent enough time streaming this for some friends. This is actually two games in one, an NES and GB version. Both are completely different in terms of levels, aesthetics, etc. I beat the NES version pretty easily without trying in an hour, but the GB version is pretty damn hard
It's like NES Castlevania but the protagonist has places she wants to be so doesn't waste time strutting everywhere.
Pretty good Castlevania-like. You move fast, which has an interesting feel. Most enemies die to one hit, but some are 4/2/1 depending on if you've got the fire whip and trigger the multiple hits of the whip. Knockback is your enemy like many of these games, as instant death pits are everywhere... but it's a little less annoying than NES era games. There is definitely some jank. At the start of each stage within a level I get a bit of a glitchy pause, which is mostly just annoying, but it can have some weird effects. The stage 6 boss (in the preview video, it's a green ghost after two cylinders smash into the floor and ceiling) can actually pause your movement in such a way that you just die on entry. When you die to a boss you start the stage before it to grab some powerups, and in this case, you get an extra life along that path... but that's not really an excuse. It's bad optimization. It's probably the only thing I'd really call out as super lame here, though the ambiguous nature of stuff disappearing above the screen/where the ground is is a little weird. For 3 bucks, though... definitely worth that. There's quite a bit of content for that price.
ENGLISH: I always expect the best from Sinclair Strange, whose name is synonymous with quality. When someone has talent, you have to acknowledge it. I also follow him on his ITCHI.IO account, and it's incredible what he's capable of creating with that nostalgic retro touch. His game is reminiscent of the Castlevania series but with that unique twist that only he can provide. Here you have it in two versions, with Gameboy graphics or NES graphics, and at a very affordable price. If you're like me and love this style of games, don't wait any longer.
