Not much here even for the price. I wish there was a middle option but, if someone really wanted to know if they should play this or not, I would have to say no. Maybe for the easy achievements and 100%. It starts out too difficult but, eventually you are just doing the same thing over and over. There aren't even special blocks or stage modifiers. Just the same four blocks. After I got the warrior, hunter, archer, and healer group, I never really diverted from it. I did try to experiment with the other characters and abilities but, it didn't seem worth it. You need to power up your characters to beat the game and spreading out the XP (faith) just makes this take longer as you grind against the same fights. After beating the game once, really the only thing to do is go for the achievements. It took me about 6.5 run-throughs to get all the achievements. The faith one seemed to be bugged but, I took a few weeks break and it seemed to work once I accumulated 1000 faith.
Game is still in the early released state, not so much updates. Seems that the developers have dropped the project.
Very barebones at the moment but I did get my enjoyment for a complete playthrough that took me about 4 hours.
Super turbo deluxe hidden gem!]
Tldr; Game is a banger, soundtrack rocks, support indie dev plz plz plz

As of writing this, I have finished 'Act I' of the game, and I feel a bit disappointed (just a bit tho). I have been checking and playing it from time to time during its early access phase. Since the game has been fully released on April 9, 2024, I can confirm that not much has changed. There has been some rebalancing, but not much new content, if any, besides more locations, has been added. The development process must have been rocky, as so little has changed from the Early Access version. Take the characters, for example. There are six of them, yet the tavern where you recruit them seems like it was made to contain (at least twice as many). This makes the gameplay a bit repetitive because there are only so many combinations of parties you can build. Which is sad because the game BEEMS (and I cannot stress it enough) with potential! There is nothing like it - the premise, the idea of incorporating match-3 and Darkest Dungeon aspects are great and well executed. Perhaps the title did not get as much traction as the devs needed, but I would love everyone to at least try it - that is why I am leaving a recommendation :3 Story may be bare bones, just introduces you to the game's end goal (but the atmosphere is great!). So is the music, soundtrack is so great it deserves buying it seperately! Sounds design is also pleasent, when matching., slashing and hacking the monsters. In terms of gameplay loop it is super fun to build your team and manage it as best as you can. Comboing your matches to attack feels amazing as well :)
You can check out more juicy match-3 games here <3 Can't stop to match 3 review #3. Bit boring.
short, but i thought it was super fun! pretty easy match 3 game, but the vibes are fun and the combat is interesting. i think its appropriately priced, and i want to see what else this team does!
Lovely pixel art in service of very little. It's a match 3. When you die you don't lose any progress. Earn "faith" to upgrade your characters. Repeat until you win. There are abilities that trigger with certain combos or when you match 4. You could probably do a challenge run, trying to clear the game with the lowest stats possible.
Прикольно, но коротенько, на момент написания прошел.

It's a RPG card matching game that let's your characters attack when you get a matching triple. It's a decent time killer. Once you beat it, you start all the way over from the beginning but you keep whatever stats or skills gained along the way. There's no new game plus and the developers don't plan on adding any. Replaying is just for getting the last bit of achievements which are grindy.
