Crossroad Mysteries: The Broken Deal

I really enjoyed the overall play of this game, especially the story line twists and turns. Game play and plot are fairly well integrated, and I did not find myself needing the hint button (with two exceptions). Directions for puzzles/mini-games were not always clear but most of the time it was obvious what was needed (with some annoying exceptions). Hidden Object scenes do not dominate the game; they are interactive mainly with some list finds. The game is fairly long so I got more than my money's worth.

Finalement assez déçue car je me suis ennuyée tout du long. Le thème est cauchemardesque, j'étais prévenue. L'histoire aurait pu être intéressante mais trop hachée et passable. Mais ce qui m'a le plus énervée c'est que je n'ai jamais pu terminer le jeu final .... plantage, relance, plantage, relance ...... grrrrr rien n'y a fait. Désolée pour les auteurs, je donne une mauvaise note.

The Broken Deal is a Broken game imo. The puzzles just started being sloppy and it just wasn't fun. I love HOGs and puzzle games...I typically never skip a puzzle in any but I skipped a few in this one because they were just bad, with confusing instructions and broken mechanics. The only good news is I think I bought this as part of a bundle to get other games so it wasn't a complete loss. Disappointing =[ The pros: The artwork was interesting

Ein sehr gelungenes, atmosphärisches HOG, wie ich finde. Es ist das erste Mal, dass ich in einem HOG falsche Entscheidungen treffen kann und dabei... nun ja... "Game over" kriege. Ich finde, so was sollte es häufiger in Wimmelbildspielen geben, nur mit der kleinen wünschenswerten Eigenschaft, selbstständig das Spiel speichern zu können, damit man nicht alles von vorn machen muss. Ich hatte viel Spaß mit dem Spiel und kann es nur empfehlen.

Ridicule de bout en bout, jusqu'à devoir battre un démon en jouant aux cartes... Aucune explication sur l'histoire, pourquoi on est apparemment amnésique, pourquoi à un moment on semble changer d'époque, est-ce qu'à la fin on est morte ou vivante...? Quant aux puzzles, dans un sens je dois leur reconnaitre une certaine originalité, mais alors entre les puzzles "faciles mais trop longs" et ceux où on ne comprend même pas les instructions... Je les ai quasiment tous passés, et pourtant ce n'est pas mon genre. Ajoutez à tout ça des graphismes passables sans plus, un gameplay pas très agréable sur les dialogues, et une durée de vie courte... Bref non, je ne recommande pas. PS: Sauvegarde automatique uniquement au changement de "chapitre" ou zone géographique, donc si on quitte le jeu il faut tout recommencer dans le dernier lieu en cours...

Did not like this game at all. No save points, so if you mess up you could have to do a section over. The puzzles were terrible, and most were not intriguing enough to me so I didn't even want to sit and try to figure them out. The dialogue parts were awkward, and the ending was crap.

Классический "поинт-клик" с небольшой примесью "я-ищу". Хорошо прорисованные локации, логичное расположение предметов и решение загадок. Интересная наполовину дедективная, наполовину мистическая история, легкий и ненадоедливый поиск. Уровни никак не влияют на получение ачивок и на саму игру в целом тоже. Есть русские сабы, перевод хороший, грамотный, ошибок в названии предметов и переводе нет. Можно сдохнуть в самом начале 0_о
