CROSSNIQ+ (CROSS-neek plus) is a speed-focused, arcade-style puzzle game inspired by "y2k-era" visual design - a tribute to highly polished, small-scope Japanese games from the late 90's.

You'll be shocked that this isnt a remastered Dreamcast game from 1998
Really well made. The aesthetic is executed flawlessy, and the local multiplayer has a cute character select. A fun mechanic in a robust package.

An enjoyable puzzle game with a nice aesthetic and good soundtrack!

This is a game I barely play, but I will never uninstall from my computer, it's really good. Imagine a arcade style puzzle game where your reflexes and adaptability are what matter most. You are going to be put in situations only your instinct can eye coordination can solve and I love it, and other times screw yourself over without realizing until the clock it's screaming at you. Great music, cool aesthetic and a simple concept on a small price. What more can you ask for? Play Crossniq+ if you like puzzle games, Crossniq is also available on the itch.io page of the creator for free with much less content if you are curious about buying this.
very aesthetically pleasing game you can groove and vibe on. my type of gaming honestly.
An excellent puzzle game
Don't get me wrong, I really do like this game.......but, it's so frustrating to setup inputs like keyboard and especially controllers. I still can't get my controller to work with this game. First play I had with this game, straight out of the box, no inputs would work at all. A lot of people will immediately become frustrated because of this and demand refunds very quickly. Minimalism to the extent that it becomes cryptic is not a good idea for an interface design. Having to type in your name every time you get a high score is just ridiculous. Try to get it when it's discounted as I paid full price, just over $10.00 New Zealand money, because I'm a sucker for this type of thing, but I don't think it's worth that amount. If you could get it for 50% off, that would be good price. But I read somewhere that it never goes on sale, so you might never get it at a discounted price. Also it looks like it's been abandoned by developer and it's last update was quite a while ago. Community support may be better. I managed to get a mouse support steam template for the game from a community member, which was good. All above being said, and in the words I opened this review with, I do really like this game. Game Play is addictive and fun. It scratches that puzzle solving itch and you get that nice endorphin reward when you start successfully making crosses. And as you get better you start making crosses faster and spotting patterns quicker. Do the Tutorial and I recommend using the Chill mode to practice as a beginner. No pressure in Chill mode so you can get used to the mechanics of the game. Handy Tip - Double clicking on multiple squares, locks them together, so you can move them into position in one movement instead of having to move each one individually, a technique which I am yet to master but can see the benefits of. So if you do purchase the game, and get past the frustration of setting up inputs, I think you will really appreciate how fun CROSSNIQ+ can be. But based on it's current state of being difficult to initially get inputs to work, I can not recommend this game. If the developer could make input setup easier, it really would be a perfect game. Adding online multiplayer would be a nice update too if the developer ever returns and decides to revamp it.
Stimulating gameplay, charming graphics, and amazing music.
