Crime Boss: Rockay City

Team Bots in stealth is like playing Russian Roulette. They break stealth runs 100% of the time. They gain conscience and decide to take over your heist by taking random civs hostage, shooting cops while not having suppressors, and all of this in front of a camera while you're 3 miles away in the heist bagging things up. Do I recommend it? Yeah since having bots is an option.

I bought this game when I heard Chuck Norris passed away and figured I’d play it for two hours to get a couple laughs and refund it but I have genuinely enjoyed this game. I am shocked cause when I saw all the trailers I just thought oh it’s a payday rip off but no this game is so much more than that so I 100% would recommend you play this.

Have Yet To Encounter Chuck Norris.. But I bought this solely for him and Michael Madsen.

[h3] TL;DR: [/h3] A decent game that is similar to Payday 2 but much easier in basically every aspect and much worse voice acting. Still very fun with its roguelike mode, even if it gets stale after a while. Crime Boss: Rockay City, a game that sounds like someone was making a mobile game. Thankfully it's not one, but quality vs presentation is definitely similar to a mobile game. The gunplay and heists are fun in my opinion, but the voice acting and writing are so bad that it's better to just skip all dialogue and cutscenes and it'll make your gameplay experience so much better. The popular actor cameos are very unnecessary, and with how they deliver lines you'd assume they have never talked to another person in their life. But ignoring the awful voice acting, the gameplay can be fun. The game has a large variety of weapons and they are all strong in their own way (even if higher tier shotguns seem to outclass most weapons in general). There are primaries, secondaries, melees, and utilities, of which the most unique are utilities. I don't own all of the character DLCs, so I don't have a decent amount of the utilities, but there are still plenty of useful ones with the base game that benefit both loud and stealth gameplay. The heists are relatively simple, so I personally don't play the heists by themselves and I instead play the roguelike mode which incorporates the heists into a longer play session. The roguelike mode has you play as Baker (and whoever else you start with/hire) to get money, conquer territories, and defeat the other crime bosses of "Rockay City." Because it's a roguelike mode, you'll earn "Boss XP" to level up stats in that mode. These stats can be just simple "Do 5% more damage with Baker," but some are at least decent with some perks giving higher rarity weapons and team members at the start of a run. Getting XP becomes much more of a grind when you eventually get all of the assets (items you either earn or buy with in-game cash to give Boss XP), as runs usually only give a level or 2 while lasting more than a few hours at the least. But I would say the game is worth it up to that point, which is around 40~ hours (if I remember correctly). I rarely touch multiplayer, so if you want info on that, you're gonna have to look at a seperate review. Now for the reason the game had a spike of negative reviews. A (very niche) VTuber was a partner for the game and the devs had dropped her. Why? Best explanation I can give is that she is a avid fan of Asmongold. Ignoring those unrelated reviews, the game would probably still be either Mixed or Somewhat Positive due to the awful writing/acting and plenty of unpatched bugs (some even just give negative reviews because it's a worse Payday 2, but at least it's not Payday 3). I'm honestly even surprised this game is still getting updated and getting more DLC, so that's an extra bonus considering the DLC have become cheaper than when they first launched. Crime Boss: Rockay City has plenty lacking elements and issues, but it's still overall a fun game and worth the price in my opinion (even better if it's on sale and you grab the extra heists).

Veramente figo, alternativa a Payday3 gioco vomitevole e come continuo al ormai vecchio Payday2. Estremamente divertente e figure di rilievo che lo caratterizzano... come gioco prende molto da tutti altri giochi gia giocati ma nell'insieme si fa giocare notevolmente bene.
