Very unrealistic cricket shots
The fielding mechanics of this game is still horrendous , i will not recommend anyone to buy this game.
Refunded in 2.5 hours. Felt like just a reskin and patch of cricket 24. not worth the price.
I love this game it is far better than Cricket 24 or other cricket games because it has better difficulty settings preset that almost feels so much realistic and it also has much better in game visuals especially of the crowd and bowlers when they take wicket.

I decided to only write a review after 150 hours and I am glad I waited. Having owned 19,22 and 24 I felt this game was too similar and on the surface there are many things similar but play long enough and you see it's a whole diff way of batting and it has far more depth then I initially realised . There are also several new field animations that def add to the game. Overall not as big as a jump as I would like but it is def the best cricket game of 19,22,24 and 26,
It's a good game. The graphics and batting shots are awesome, but the DLS method needs to be improved. In this game, the DLS system is absolutely terrible. I scored 480 runs in a full 50-over ODI on Medium mode. When the second innings started, I bowled only one ball and then rain interrupted the match. After that, it showed that I won by just 1 run through the DLS method. This definitely needs improvement and could be much better.
This is the best depiction of cricket in a video game. Having said that some gameplay areas need improvement as stated below: 1. Superhuman catches by wicket-keeper (standing up) and close-in fielders. Especially the close-in fielders should be ducking down on power shots. 2. There should be both bowling & batting archetype diversification. Currently there is not much tactical difference in how the AI bowling or batting archetypes plays out. 3. While batting there should be a better connectivity of normal pull shot on waistline deliveries.
